Soo..last night, around 12:30am, I was picking my b.f up from work. He is really about 30-40 miles away from home, which is really a fun drive. Anyway, on my way back home, I was drivin bout 75mph. I usually chill around 80-85 since i got my first ticket over there and the cops are hot.
***PLUS***, if i drive too fast the air will stop working lol.

Meanwhile, i see some aftermarket headlights weavin in and out the lanes. Now my first thought is, "whatever it is, it probably aint lookin over here"..
**Last week we sold the blinging rims, sold the flip out screen, took out the 3 JL Audio W0's, took out the radio and everything else. Only thing i had in that sorry jetta was a turbo boost gauge ,some blue neons, and the twin exhaust. (We are selling the car) ****

Anyway, I didnt have the neons on, but this blue honda insisted that he could fuck with me. So im thinkin "race him or loose the cold air" eventually i chose the race and beat his ass twice :cool:.. Then i slowed down to let him know it was over. But nooo, he wanted to keep ridin my ass. So once again, we go down a straight shot of highway @ about 125mph each (i didnt want to over do it cause like i said, i got my ticket in the same spot a couple of days ago). This time, i stayed right next to him to let him know he had no chance.

The side by side racing stopped and we both were weaving in and out the lanes just before our exit to merge on the next highway..

Soon as we merged on the next highway, i jumped in the HOV lane and we went at it again. He lost again. >:/

Eventually he accepted his fate right? Nope, i let him go on with the "ricer fly by"...but my b.f was like, "dont let him do the fly by" so I caught back up with him and guess what? Just to my delight a fuckin BIKE decides to join the fun. I wasnt interested in running the bike of course...So me, the honda, and the bike are going in and out the lanes going around the unsuspecting innocents.
Then THREE more cars join us. Im like WOW WTF :D It was a Dodge something car, a bronze honda, and a FireBird. By this time my adrenaline is on fire!!! So all of us are just going wild on the highway. The Red Dodge thing takes an exit. The rest of us keep at it. Eventually the 1st honda i was racing took off with the bronze honda at an exit. I dont know what happend to the bike guy, he left us. So me and the firebird are going at it..yatta yatta yatta, we all know what happend. Im surprised he didnt leave me like i thought...Or maybe he couldnt (V6)?? Anyway, we played on the highway for a little while, then the traffic just got too tight. The guy in the firebird gave me the thumbs up..I turned off the highway and went home..

The end of my saturday night. It was fun fun fun fun

depends some are V6 some are V8...i've had similar experiences..they are always fun..i think i had up to 8 max..but the thing is..when i stop leading..everyone goes slow as fuck....pussies

My sisters 98 Dodge Avenger does more than that. Although she claims she's beaten benzes with that thing. It does have a six, but only 2.5 liters (Mitsubishi made that engine).

I don't know how those compare, but the Avenger is a sporty coup (a big, nose heavy FWD sporty coup) not a sports car. Actually it's a nice car (I like it), the thing is it's 100% stock. I'm not saying your car sucks, its just that I expected it to be faster than stock.

stealth or avengers dont have twin turbo in them (at low rpm *acceleration* and high rpm *driving at a fast rate going through gears faster*) 3000GT does...3000GT will fuck any of them cars up...

My sister's car is all back with a tan leather interior and a sunroof. The engine starts at a push of a button on the key fob. (that was custom though from the sercurity system she has installed)

Those VW's (with the exception of the tiny beetle) are boxes on wheels. As far as exterior design goes they are lagging behind the curve. I know VW's are nice (on the inside and they are built well), but as hard as they try they don't look like sports cars. Regardless, there are far more Jetta's on the street than Avengers, the Avenger is no longer in production (the Stratus replaced it). As for me "debating" everything. I do not blindly accept anything, if someone tells me something I want to know that it is true. I like to know things because I hate to spread false info, and I love to learn. Countering the claims of others is I how learn what really is and what isn't. I'm not about to just accept things because someone says to. Let that go. The Avenger is not ugly, how are you going to throw that at me as if were some kind of proven fact? No one that I've met in person has had that reaction to it, and plenty have complimented it, plenty have said that it was a very nice car upon seeing it and after riding in it. Also, all cars are not boxes on wheels, some of them have actual shapes the Jetta is litterally a rounded off cube. And how do you forget so quickly? You said that the Jetta tops out at 135, you didn't just say that's all your willing to do with it. Going 100 is putting yourself in danger, I would never do even that much on a public road. Anything can happen outside of a closed circuit, 100 is not safe but I'm not even trying to go on that. You are also forgetting something about the 3000GT, the Avenger is the better deal. The 3000GT is over priced, over weight, and overly cramped. The Avenger has far more practical uses than a 3000GT plus ordinary people can actually afford it.

Enjoy your Jetta, but to think that it grants some status of superiority is riddiculous. 135? That's not superior.

I know who had the better performing engines and when they did and where they got the better ones from (VW had a long run of underperforming engines until they started sharing some of the better Audi engines [although they still let Audi have the better tuned ones]). I know who pioneered variable valve timing, who used someone else parts, and what will be the next new automotive technology. I can tell you who is leading the trends and wether or not the lastest new thing is a break through or a minor upgrade. Anybody who wants to buy a new car can benifit from taking me along, because I know most of the figures on most vehicles, and I know the histories on the performance of different models. I never say that a car sucks, because if it did I would know enough to describe to you why.

The Toyota Prius is the best economical car out in the market. It has 60 MPG, and the Volkswagen Jetta has like 22 or 23, unless you have the 2006 model, it's like 24 on city, 30 on highway.
