Last Chance For Equality by Kronologik & Funk_M

Funk.....

Think of lives many africans grace, hard fought hunger n violence being faced
Enforced famine embraced, Darfur's asunder and Mugabe's problems with race
Families destroyed, survivors live in filth just to survive the slaughter
Relying on handouts for food, having to walk miles for dirty water
Hope lies with faith, but the deities have left, we must solve the strife
Aids is a part of life, but why aren't we trying to Aid the cradle of life
Monetary support is rife, but the money is going into who's hands?
Billions is being used to fund despotic regimes like the Taliban
Cries of 'Save this land!', as mass murder and poverty start to dominate
The poor are everdying, answers seem obvious, so why do we deliberate?
Solution is uncertain in the debate, as the poverty stricken await their fate
But how can they get into our world if we refuse to open the G8

Kron.....

Remember starvation's last stand, life's contraband, never planned
Disease riddled with poverty, AIDS being dispersed on demand
Forced daily exodus for water, imminent survival of the strong
Aiming to prove you wrong, inevitably, the journeys become too long
Sometimes I envy these people with such little drama to be unfurled
Unaware of the corruption and greed everforsaking the Western world
The West claims to be champions of freedom, so why not wipe out the debt
And soon we will all learn to forget, opportunities we musn't regret
Not realising how fortunate we are, driving cars and smoking cigars
Not even travelling far, yet polluting air that dims the morning star
How do you spread advice of safe sex to unaware children in the desert
3 seconds is all it takes, before they're reunited with the dirt
