Hey i am just getting used to using CEP2 and i am curious how do u export what u are doing as an mp3..if there is a better format to convert to or w/e but i jus wanna convert it to sumthin so i can burn my tracks onto a CD..sorry might be kina confusin but someone will know what i am talking about lol.

When you're in the multitrack view, go to Edit, Mix Down to file then All waves. Then once it mixes down, go to File, Save As and select mp3.

sweet thanks man...and I am trying to get some of the distorion cuz i am using a cheap mic.But how do u apply the noise reduction effects...because it won't let you just click on them.

Highlight the wave before you do any effects

for noise reduction:

on a new track, record FIVE SECONDS of silence - no beat playing, no talking, but obviously have tha microphone on. When you've done that, go to tha edit mode (double click tha 5 seconds you just recorded or use tha button on tha top left), highlight tha 5 seconds (double click on it) and go to edit>noise reduction>noise reduction. Click Get profile from selection, and let it do its thing. Then quit out of that. Delete tha five seconds if you want, but DON'T CLICK ON GET PROFILE FROM SELECTION AGAIN.
Now, when you come to edit ya vocals, tha FIRST THING you should do is highlight all of it and go to edit>noise reduction>noise reduction, and click 'ok' - NOT get profile from selection. This removes only tha background noise - if you just do it from a break in ya vocals, chances are it'll pick up tha beat from ya headphones a bit and remove some frequencies it'd be better to keep.

And you can do it like old Ikey said, but you can also just go to: file>save mixdown as... use mp3 129kbps for tha net, but tha higher tha better for cd's. Wavs are ideal for cds. Good luck

K well sum of this is chineese to me lol but i can see what you are saying..and i jus finally figured it out..thanks guys!! And if i have any other problems i'll let ya know lol...well i'm gonna download reason and i'm sure i'll have alot of questions about that lol so be ready..
