View Full Version : If pac was alive he would be a commercial fuck
ressurection 08-10-2005, 11:05 PM think about it , he would do the EXACT same thing that snoop dogg did.
And look at snoop dogg , yeah hes ok for the pop charts but his songs are gettin worse and worse , which is what would have happened to tupac if he was alive , i dont know why but this is the case with most rappers like eminem , even 50 cent after his first album.
if he was alive it wouldnt be you that was listenin to him ,but your girlfriend.
Im not tryin to take anythin away from him, the guys a lyrical genius but that WOULD be the harsh reality
anyways , opinions are welcome
hhh_dean 08-18-2005, 12:13 PM maybe he would, but i think he'd still be trying to make a difference whatver he was doing
n before he died he was gonna start doing more films and less music, who knows what he'd be doing today
the mans a legend anyhow!
Lay Doubt 08-20-2005, 11:22 PM hes lucky he died while he was still dope ass hell, cuz yall are right..........
x Bless x 08-21-2005, 01:24 PM I think if he was still around he wouldnt be doin music, he would
probably get out of the game when he was ahead,
probably release another album, then wait a few years till he drops
'Pacs Greatest Hits'
Laking 86er 08-21-2005, 10:27 PM he probably would be commercial.....he was like the first big rapper in mainstream.....so as it was he was commercial before he died...not like 50 cent commercial, but anyways..... yeah he wanted to make a difference so being commercial would be the best way....the more popular you are, and the more renowned you are...there more your opinion and views are going to be heard.....
but anyways you cant assume...we will never know... maybe he would have never made another song...maybe he would have become a pop singer or the 6th only black nsync member......who fucking knows so assuming is bad
dont call pac a commercial fuck! you nigger
prankster198 08-29-2005, 12:30 PM y ressurection did u call him in heaven and ask him
Mischieveus 09-06-2005, 08:21 PM ^ Shutup, jerk..

^ Yeah, good topic of discussion. Had Pac stayed alive, who knows what he would be doing right now? It's better he passed when he did because it's possible his legacy wouldn't be nearly as huge as it is.
The only reason I disagree with your assumption is because Snoop and Pac were two different people, even though at one point in both their careers they were about the exact same thing. As they came up, they both were about different things. Pac's purpose was to expose the truth about the ghetto in attempt to change the way things were. Snoop was in the game strictly for money, as it appeared to me.
With the way Pac was, it wasn't surprising that his fate was being murdered in a shooting. Snoop was more laid back and didn't really provoke anyone.
If Pac were alive today, he'd probably be overseeing his own record lable. But before that, he would've spent a couple years in prision for being convicted for murder or something. He'd make one final album and then the lable would come..
skip 2 ma lu 09-08-2005, 08:35 PM yea you may be right coz some rapperz around cant keep their performance and tupac may've thought of that stuff

chink............................................. ... >:/ ........white pale ass...
watever and 2pac had alot of meaning in his songs..i dontthink hed go commercial that much
i diagree, when he was alive he worked night and day on his song. people like snoop dogg rely on good producers and CEO's like pharell and suge knight. and beside i don't think he would have been known as a great rapper most artists became more famous after they died and 2pac in is not an acception >
Conspiracy 09-25-2005, 08:09 AM good topic
well i think he would be doing more films then music since thats what he wanted do to...music wise....iono not all rappers go commerical..just look at scarface...some keep it real...i think pac would have...
as for the comparison with snoop.....iono bout him anymore lol
but yea his life and music stood out...specially with everything he did for the community
Mischieveus 10-22-2005, 02:41 AM I'm just gonna add to this:
To see where a person's future may lay, you have to first take a look at their past. Pac stood for a cause when he started. He once compared Vietnam to the ghetto in an interview in saying that the Vietnam war ended because of the pictures exposing the true reality of what war really was and that he hoped by exposing the ghetto through his music that the same would happen. Of course, it's not that easy, but he set out on a mission and was determined thoughout the early stages of his career. After being locked up for an extended amount of time and being signed to Death Row, his attitude towards life changed a great deal. He still had the same vision he had before, but he was a little more realistic towards them now. He realized that you can't help everybody and even when you try, you get stabbed in the back anyway . . . so why try?
His album "All Eyez on Me" was the release of his anger. Had Pac lived, I think he would've lost his way. I don't think Pac was exactly sure what direction he was headed. Eventually I think he would've had some kind of break down to where he would've fell off for a bit, but he probably would've made some kind of huge return later in his career. I still hold my theory in Pac heading a lable. And I agree that he would've done a lot more movies.
In conclusion though, I think is best that Pac passed when he did. The mystery that surrounds his life and death is what makes him such a popular individual. Had Pac died at a reasonable age, he'd leave a huge legacy reguardless . . but not nearly as big as the one he has now.
Things just worked out for the best.
-B- The Ol G 10-23-2005, 12:05 PM what do u mean if he was alive he would be commercial dont worry he's dead and eminem is makin sure he's doin that now i mean songs with elton john wtf pac would be spinnin in his grave!!!

Actually no.. If you KNEW what you were talking about, that might be a good point. Fact is, Pac liked Elton John and listened to his music. Yall should really read up before you go saying some shit that'll have you lookin dumb to people like me who know better.
Keep in mind people. . . If you're TRULY a Pac fan, then you look past his "gangster" image that he portrayed throughout his career. There's a lot more to the man than guns and bitches..
ressurection 02-02-2006, 03:26 PM there were no guns ....or bitches. The only thing that annoys me about eminems producing is that he cant change his music to suit tupacs style , so he changes tupacs style to suit his beats and producing . Its gone too far with this tupac thing theres been simply too many albums released after his deatha nd they keep getting worse ...Untill the end of time was the only decent one , and makaveli , if you can count that

Man Pac done said it a LONG time ago..
"Rap for tha bitches, cause tha Niggas gone want, what tha bitches want"
Mischieveus 02-03-2006, 12:47 AM there were no guns ....or bitches. When I said "guns and bitches" it was in reference to Pac's image as a rapper. The reason I even mentioned that aspect was to contrast his softer side; the same side that wrote poetry and did ballet while in high school. It was to prove that Pac would have done a song with Elton John, had the opportunity presented itself. My point in all this is that those who make the uneducated comments only see Pac for how the media a the record lable wanted him to be portrayed. If you really like Pac and you take some time out to learn who he was, then you'll see there's more to the man.
Pac is my all time favorite because I like him for the human being he was. Most rappers today couldn't even touch the charcter that Pac had. That's what's missing in today's rap music.
And I agree with the production on the Loyal to the Game CD. Although I thought Eminem was a worthy candidate, his production skills arn't very versatile. Hopefully they'll get a good West Coast producer, whether they be big name or not, to do the next CD.
And in responce to the post about Pac being a commercial rapper like Snoop and all those other guys . . . . it's possible because most rappers only get worse with time. Pac used A LOT of the same vocabulary and rhyme schemes thoughout his career. Even though his style changed gradually, I don't think it would've been much different from the time of his death until the time he quit rapping. I don't know why people are comparing Snoop and Pac. Just because they were on the same lable and did a couple songs doesn't mean they would've gone the same path.
MakaveliNas 02-04-2006, 06:26 PM 2pac rap for the poor and hopeless not tv shit or 50 cent shit
D^Coy 02-04-2006, 08:40 PM ^Stfu.
He did.
sh0rty. 02-06-2006, 01:08 AM Thing is, Pac said he wanted to get out of the limelight, stop rapping and being gangsta. He would definently not be as famous as he is today because he would of just left anyways. If he was alive, he would probably mainly be in movies and be an actor ;)
ILLustrate™ 02-06-2006, 04:44 PM I think Pac would be a successful producer and shit, but also a major movie star. I could see him writing books into his retirement, maybe even his own screenplays, who knows LoL
Mischieveus 03-03-2006, 03:01 AM ^ Agreed.
I think Pac would have merged on to the silver screen much in the same fashion as did The Rock. After The Rock conquered the wrestling world, he moved on to making films and hasn't looked back since. Towards the end of his life, Pac was doing more and more films. Eventually, it would have been a lot more flims and less music . . . then just films.
It's hard to say what really would have happened, but if you study the past well enough, you can figure out where it is something, or someone is going to go.
Omega Def One 03-03-2006, 07:06 PM i think the same too
he'd be like John Singleton
Arminius 03-06-2006, 04:35 PM No one here knows what the fuck Pac would be doin....
With that said...
Immortal Technique said it best...
but you know what the fuck I think is just pathetic and gay
when niggaz speculate what the fuck 'Pac would say
you don't know shit, about a dead mans perspective
and talking shit will get your neckbone disconnected

exactly,
It sickens me when people assume what 2pac would be doing if he were still alive today,
HOW THE FUCK WOULD YOU KNOW?
maby he would have dedicated all this time and money to help underprivlidged children
maby hitler would have been gay,
maby elvis would have molested little children,
......enough said on my part
Kill_me_dead 03-20-2006, 07:31 PM err.....Pac would whip everyones ass for speculatin what he'd do..heheheh
~live2tell~ 03-21-2006, 11:51 AM Nah I don't think Tupac would have sold out. If Tupac was here today I don't even think he'd be rapping anyway.
The RIPPA 03-25-2006, 03:28 AM Asses, Pac would have the same appeal that he did before he died. He would not switch his shit, and the world would still love him. Recognize that he could do songs on many different subjects that would still be a commercial hit. Because of his sales and status it would be considered mainstream, but Pac would have remained true to himself while still making millions. PERIOD!!!!
~crucifix~ 04-01-2006, 05:34 PM ^^ word, pac wouldnt change for nuthin
Carlito2 04-04-2006, 06:52 PM bet if pac was alive today he'd prolly make a track dissin everyone who downloads his music.
tupacs_baby17 04-23-2006, 02:25 AM i think if pac was still alive he would be making alot of changes an he would b out the game fo a while he'd b way more political now
