What do you think of Roots Manuva?

I'm torn between liking him and hating him. I like the way he's created his own genre and set himself apart from everybody else, with a style that barely relates to hip-hop. But i think his lyrics are abysmal when it comes to flow and complexity (although they often carry deep messages), and most of the time it sounds like he's talking like he would normally. I do like his beats though. And he has created a few classic tunes like Witness (One Hope) and Run Come Save Me.

I havent really, surprisingly, heard enough of him to pass judgement, although I did like what I heared.

i like him, so fucking easy to listen to, d/l most his albums, me fav track would maybe be the one with charlie 2na or dreamy days , though i like the first track of run come save me, no strings is a bloody beuatiful piece of music

dont really like him to be honest, he isnt bad he just dosnt stand out.
