1. Red Sox-Indians playoff game would be played Monday in Boston, with (most likely) Bronson Arroyo facing Cliff Lee (just as in 1948, the Red Sox and Indians met in a one-game playoff at Fenway for the American League pennant).
2. In the event that all three contenders finish at 95-67 -- a distinct possibility -- they'll engage in a first-time-ever three-team, two-day playoffs. On Monday, the Yankees would host the Red Sox in a battle for the East title. And immediately after the game, the loser would travel to Cleveland for a one-game playoff for the wild card.

3. Yankees host the Red Sox in a winner-take-all for the East flag. Presumably, Bucky Dent will be in the Stadium to throw out the first pitch.

4. Indians host Yankees in one-game playoff for wild card, Lee against Shawn Chacon (sorry, no precedent for this one; as near as I can tell, these teams have never played a game at the end of the season that meant something to both of them).

baseball is boring as fuck, i'm right there with ya Kron.. NFL is exciting b/c there are always big hits and big plays. NHL is boring to. It's the NATIONAL hockey league, but i mean there are like what 3 americans in the nhl, all the players are Russian, Canadian or other countries. I can't even pronounce half the players names. Basketball is exciting in the playoffs. Soccer just has no appeal to us american's b/c even when we had that girl team that were big, they don't play it on TV. It really has no audience, I can't name a single soccer fan. I couldnt even name a single Soccer team we have.(we have some league in america). Even friends who play soccer don't like watching it, and most say they'd watch any other sport over a soccer game anyways.

Ehh fuck tositos and salsa. Its the 'homemade' tortilla chips with homemade salsa thats the best. BTW i think the movie popcorn is the best. Esp if you know how to make it but thats just me. I do agree with ya about its a toss up when they play again. Should be a great postseaon tho.
