the last and final fight for the heavy weight was such a good and bloody war, that UFC gave both of them contracts.

Forrest Griffen and Diego Sanchez won season 1... Nate Quarry got a contract because he did his ankle in during the first show so he officially didn't get eliminated and Stephan Bonnar got a contract because of the "brilliant" stand up brawl with Forrest Griffen (which Griffen won) on the Ultimate Fighter Season 1 Finale...

Matt Hughes is a good coach, I just think Rich Franklin shouldn't be a coach and defiantly not a champion. Evan Tanner should be in his place I reckon.
