Why dont we worry about PLAYOFFS before the superbowl. The Playoffs are a totally different season then the regular season.

NFC:

North-Chicago 4-3
West-Seattle 5-2
East-Dallas 5-3/NY 5-2
South-Car 5-2/Atl 5-2

The wildcards will be whichever teams dont win the east and south. Most likely NY and ATL. Based on Dallas being 5th in d and 7th in offense in the nfl, and beating 2 out of 3 division opponents already.

AFC:

AFC NORTH- Cinci 6-2/ Pitts 5-2
AFC SOUTH- Indy 7-0/ Jax 4-3
AFC EAST- New Eng 4-3
AFC WEST- DEN 6-2 / KC 4-3

With SD still holdin on. at the halfway point.

wildcards: SD and Cinci

I actually think that the don prediction was good. But i think Indy wins 27-14

I don't think Car makes it b/c of a couple reasons.....

They have relied on Steve Smith ALL season. Every win has been on him pretty much. He's done everything for them. I don't see him holdin up much longer. And after him they have no one capable of dominating a defense.

I also think Dallas, Seattle would both beat them in the playoffs.

In the NFC Dallas might be the best team. They have dominated EVERY runningback they have played,(Shaun Alexander,Clinton Portis,Tiki Barber,LaDainian Tomlinson,Brian Westbrook) and the Db's are playing well. They are getting a lot of pressure on qb's. Offensively: Julius Jones is back, and Marion barber was playing well while he was out. Terry Glenn has been torching Defenses, and Witten and Keyshawn are playing strong. When Drew has had time,(which was all year) he is a great QB. Do you realize he has the highest QB rating in the entire NFC? They SHOULD be 8-0 right now. They havn't been outplayed this year. They move the ball well, and shut down teams well. They are ranked 5th in offense, and 7th in defense in the nfl.

I think Dallas vs. Indianapolis is a very likely matchup.

Man i guess. im a dallas fan an i dont think we go win. We to inconsistant. And dont forget Drew Bledsoe was a mvp canidate, his first year in buffalo. So i dont know maybe hopefully we could. If are d stay heathy, cause we got a lot of injuriesat right now. If we can go 3 and 1 during are next four games we got a chance

Let's Get it.....

Im ashamed you call yourself a Dallas Cowboys fan after that!

We have Flozell Adams and Patrick Crayton out for the year.

Peerless Price makes up for Crayton so it's really only one injury right now.

Anthony Henry and Julius will be fine to play thanks to the bye week.

Were not inconsistant, we were 5th in defense, 7th in offense before the bye week. How many other teams in the NFL are top 10 in both? We SHOULD be undefeated right now.

Yeah i know, but we are not. Im not one of them fans that get happy over a couple of wins. First we need to worry about getting in the playoff befor we start talking about superbowl victories and shit. One game at a time. We could be 8 and 0, but e also could be 1-7.

The way the colts slammed the pats and the way they have been playing.. i wouldnt be surprised to see a 16-0 record... 19-0 after the superbowl...offense is dynamite... defense has played strong all year to keep them in games and to win games when the Offense on rare occasions struggled...

I wanna see the Colts & Seahawks or Colts & Carolina...

*Toby*
11-08-2005, 07:52 PM
Colts will go undefeated if they can get past Cinci and Pitts back to back weeks

Vokals
11-08-2005, 08:20 PM
cincy wont be a problem... they havent really beat any GREAT teams... pitts may put up a fight though... but the colts D is better than previous years and Steelers have struggles with out Big ben and he's out for a couple of weeks from a knee scope

*Toby*
11-08-2005, 08:29 PM
You know what I was thinking about.......

What's better for the NFL... INDI to go undefeated or... A complete upset.

Look at the NFC North. Min is 1-2 games out now. I was thinking... What if they won the division at 6-10( really isnt that far-fetched) and swept thru the playoffs. If they won the superbowl they would be 10-10 on the year and super bowl champs.

now wouldnt that be some shit?

(not to say i think that is likely at all. but what if)

Vokals
11-08-2005, 08:37 PM
that would be a bigger story...

but Indies would go in the record books and prolly be remembered more often than not

Lets break it down right now ok.......

The Panthers are starting to meld together as one team and any tea in the NFL will tell you when they start to do that it's trouble for the league especially since we have all our guys healty (forbid anything from happening to them) Carolina is the sure sweep in choice for the NFC pic now as far as the colts I seem them playing a close game aganist Cinccy this team is serious people don't sleep on them because thats whats been happening people were sleeping on them and I knew this year they were gonna be on the come up to have a big season and thats what they have been having this whole year.... INDY WILL NOT GO UNDEFEATED IN THE REGULAR SEASON!!! they will take an L to Pittsburgh and to Seattle........ The make it to the Bowl only to fall short of the prize CAROLINA SUPERBOWL CHAMPS (REMEMBER I PREDICTED IT FIRST)

*Toby*
11-10-2005, 05:06 PM
Carolina won't make it to the nfc champ game. Mark my words

*Toby*
11-10-2005, 05:14 PM
Here's what will happen....

Dallas will beat Seattle, carolina, or atlanta in the nfc championship. No NFC team has played the caliber of teams Dallas has and come out doing well. Dallas is 5-3, and should run over Philly minus T.O even worse then they did Philly with T.O earlier this year. On track to go 10-6. BUT probably will finish with 11-12 wins. Watch out.

TheDon
11-10-2005, 06:20 PM

Whose gonna make it Dallas HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA they can't even beat us in the playoffs......... Dallas making it to the NFC Champs game ROFLMAO

11-10-2005, 06:27 PM
TheDon do u realize how stupid you sound? "Lmao they didnt beat us in 2003 therefore they can't beat us now" is how ur coming off.

Do you Realize Dallas is top 10 in offense, AND defense this year? Do You realize Carolina has absolutely ZERO depth, and all it will take is a Steve Smith injury to ruin thier year?

TheDon
11-10-2005, 09:03 PM
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AGAIN AT THAT SHIT

You guys can't handle us in postseason especially since WE ARE going to have Homefield advantage of you guys and no depth please we have clutch players Ricky Proehl Kerry Colbert Rod gardner PLEASSSSSSSSEEEE man just because you guys are ranked good right now I gurantee we will be in the top 5 of Defense before the end of the season Oh and heres a little Fact We are Number 1 in run defense now Just thought I'd throw that in there.......

Dallas Beating Carolina in the Playoffs PLEASSSEEEEEEEEEEE LMAO!!!!!! What u guys believe 3rd time is the charm huh Well I'm glad you got your team Spirit But I'm talking real and if I knew you in real Life I would put a 100 on it Like I did with my Best friend who is also a cowboys fan here is they key for you all just to let you know.....Your Gonna want Dan morgan to get hurt if you guys wanna stand a chance aganist us......

DALLAS hahahahahhahahahahhaah

(Walks Out shaking head in disgust)

You could have atleast said NY tht would have been alot better

Spinna
11-10-2005, 09:28 PM
I think its going to be Dallas vs. Colts in the Superbowl.

Unless there are major injuries, Colts will go undefeated.

New England and Philly won't make the playoffs.

Colts will loose their only game of the season to Cowboys in Superbowl
score: 24-17

GOOOOOOOOOOO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Toby*
11-11-2005, 12:05 AM
TheDon u are fucking dumb. PERIOD.

Dallas has shut down every runningback they have faced. You say if I mentioned NY it'd be okay... Don't forget we beat NY. Dallas is a MUCH better team then we were in 2003. Bledsoe is having an incredible year. And don't tell me rod gardner, ricky proehl are clutch. They arent. Dallas played Rod Gardner PLENTY of times, the nigga is AVERAGE at best. And if your a TRUE Panthers fan you would know that. You know DAMN WELL, that if Steve Smith goes down, so does Carolina. PERIOD.

TheDon
11-12-2005, 02:32 AM
Uh huh welllllll ok drew bledsoe the quaterback that time forgot well you put your season in his hands ok an I'll put mines in Jakes because when it comes down to it The Cowboys can't beat the panthers no matter whose injured and please Carolina's defense is better then any shit the fucking cowboys are talking about. You wanna go to statistics we are higher then ya'll in takeaways and Run defense KEY parts of a defense not none of this bullshit you talkin bout Dallas ain't goin to the fuckin bowl they are gonna be at home watchin us again Like they were 2 years ago Fucking Bumbs... Dumb Fuck theres 3 elements to a team Defense Special Teams and Offense Offense Makes Plays Defense Wins Championships.

I have to always school these kids pfffft Ricky Proehls not clutch what the Fuck was that against the lions then a regular catch noone from the Fuckin Cowboys could have did that shit. especially not Keyshawn

*Toby*
11-12-2005, 05:11 AM
Keyshawn Johnson or Ricky proehl in the clutch. I'd bet my life if you ask 100 KNOWLEDGEABLE fans who they would want the ball to go to with the game on the line AT LEAST 80 would say Keyshawn.

Stillers vs. Falcons

Pittsburgh takes it in Detroit.... the bus retires a happy man..... Porter beats up Vick in the parking lot.... and Big Ben is revered as a God.

I got my fingers crossed :)

Ender
11-12-2005, 05:34 PM
Stillers always choke in the playoffs...and i dont know if they could beat the colts at homw....But Big Ben is the man though, i give them that..They go win a couple in his career...but i doubt if they do this year.....As everyone knows im a cowboy fan....but a realistic one....I dont think the cowboys will beat the panthers....Drew Bledso is terrible under pressure. Has been all his career. So add that to the fact that The panther are one of the best teams at stopping the run, thats a problem for the us. But if we did play, i dont think Steve Smith would do to much of nothin. Because right now Terrence Newman is finnanly living up to his hipe. and is one of the best corners in the league...And any dallas fan who said they should have sign Fred Smoot over the off season ove Anthony Henry, nees to kill there selves.. But i do think we could beat anyother team in the nfc....And the giants or over rated

*Toby*
11-12-2005, 05:36 PM
Delholme vs. Bledsoe

Bledsoe has completed 63.9% of his passes for 2019 yards with 13 tds, 6 ints and a 97.4 passer rating in 8 games.

Delhomme has completed 60.1 % of his passes for 1893 yards with 14 td's and 8 int's and a 94.5 Passer rating in 8 games

So Drew has thrown for more yards, and more accurate . while Jake has 1 more td and 2 more int's .

To further break it down:

Against teams with winning records Jake has played 2 teams this year with a winning record.

In those games he went:
11- 26 for 126 yards with 1 int and a 42.6 % comp with a 46.0 qb rating. (NE)
11-18 for 216 yards with 1 td and a 61.1% comp with a 121.5 qb rating. (TB)

Drew has played 5 teams with a winning record.

in those games he went:

18- 24 for 226 yards 3 td's 0 int's. 75% comp. 143.4 qb rating (SD)
21-36 for 261 yards 1 td 0 int's for 58.3 % comp. 90.2 qb rating(wash)
24-35 for 289 yards 3 td's 0 int's for 68.6% comp. 122.2 qb rating(phil)
26-37 for 312 yards 1 td 1 int for 70.3% comp. 93.5 qb rating(NYG)
13-24 for 136 yards 1 td 2 int's for 54.2 % comp. 50 qb rating.(Sea)

So as you can see Drew has played 3 more games against teams with winning records, and faired pretty well barring the seattle game.

And for the offense and defense stat:

Dallas is ranked above Carolina in both offense AND Defense. Dallas is 5th in the nfl in defense. 6th in offense, while playing MORE teams with winning records. While Carolina is 18th in offense and 11th in defense. And that's with Carolina playing 6 teams with losing records, compared to Dallas playing 3 teams.

Carolina's Defense is 1st against the run, and 25th vs the pass.

Dallas Defense is 13th against the pass and 6th against the run.

Dallas avg. 122.4 yards rushing a game compared to Carolina's 90.6 yards a game.

Dallas throws 235.4 yards a game compared to Carolinas 230.4

Dallas gives up 17.1 pts a game (7th in the nfl) to carolina's 20.4 pts a game( 19th)

One last stat: Drew has a super bowl ring and Jake doesnt.

So Dallas has a better defense and better offense after playing better teams. Argue that one

*Toby*
11-12-2005, 05:39 PM
Letsgetit your not realistic, your afraid to say what you actually think.Either that or you don't know enough about the NFL to argue. Drew has played more teams with a winning record and the line has protected him fine. He has had plenty of time to pass, and as i've showed, when given time he is one of the best qb's in the nfl. And he has been given time all year, what makes you think he won't now?

TheDon
11-12-2005, 11:58 PM
Damn contagious everythings got be a big super argument huh ya man said it best Panthers win AGAIN drew bledsoe and the cowgirls leave carolina again 3 time losers at B.O.A Stadium and I know people who would pick damn Ricky over Keyshawn talk about hype I bet he has more Clutch catches then Keyshawn what u wanna bring up Ricky Proehl is known for being clutch they say it all the fucking time on Espn and shit so come on please I'll take ricky any day you can have your big name keyshawn and also I agree wit lets get it even if steve smith doesn't have big numbers we will still get the job done.......Guarantee Cowboys don't make the superbowl You heard it here first I'm the guru of this prediction shit don't believe me go look who predicted the 2003 superbowl if they let you Sports illustrated copied me I made that prediction for the season was even over last year that the panthers would play the colts and win so come on.......PANTHERS TAKE IT ALL CASE CLOSED next

Ender

Ok well stats really dont mean shit to me...Cause if i remeber corecttlly. WE had the number one Defence in the NFL. Two years ago and lost to Carolina...So dont give me no stats, they mean completly shit to me....And Drew Bledso won that ring on the bench.....When starting he is 0 for 1 in the superbowl, Just like Jake.. and with flozell adams out for the season i dont no if Dallas offensive line will, hold up.....So stop searching for stats cause that mean completely nothing.......

Letsgetit.. That superbowl he won on the bench, if you remember correctly he GOT them into the superbowl.Brady was hurt and guess who STARTED THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME? Yep, Bledsoe. Brady played in the superbowl, but if it weren't for Drew they wouldn't have been there in the first place.

And about Flo. I like him in MADDEN, but in real life, he is VERY overrated. he has always dominated most de's, but struggled SEVERELY on the speed rushers, He just flat our aint quick enough to keep up with them. He is VERY inconsistant and has publically been criticized by Big Bill over and over. So, us losing him wasn't THAT big of a loss. Torrin Tucker has played GREAT so far. Give credit where credit is due.

THEDON, back to my argument, after looking at the ACTUAL numbers, do you still agree that Carolina is a more dominant team than dallas?

Yeah you aint saying shit.....just opinion.....which means nothing....And Bledsoe....still dont trust him...you see that dumb ass pass he threw, when Trotter was about to sack him...That shit cost us seven points, and almost the game....If Roy didnt pick off Donavan, we would have lost...And that would have been the third time we lost cause of his stupid ass desions. We lost against Seattle cause him....and the raiders. And he lucky roy bailed him out....So fuck his numbers, he cost us games

*Toby*

Yea dumb shit he WINS us games 2. 6 of them so far to be exact. If you look at his stats in the games we lost, he still played well.

what game has he won for us..... week one, aron glenn won that for us...Bledsoe had two fumbles...Week 3 yeah maybe he won it for us, but the comback was after he threw two picks...one of which was returned for a touchdown..week 6 our defence won that game holding the eagles to 3 point...week 7 are defence won that game by shutting down manning and plaxico...and not to mention roy williams cause a fumble at the goal line...and anthony henry had an interception in the inzone, and a forced fumble....week 9 we played the Cards...that hardly count worth shit....and week 10 roy won us that game by picing off mcnabb...

So contagious do you actually wacth these games are look at stats....

And what hgame has he won for us....none.....dont get me wrong im content with him at QB cause thats our best option..and he is the best one we have had scince aikman....but he dont deserve sole credit for or 6-3 record

*Toby*
11-17-2005, 05:59 PM
If your qb sucks you don't win games period. I watch EVERY game, I haven't missed one since 1991 actually, so don't even waste your time on that. Every GOOD or GREAT team has a GOOD or GREAT qb. True? Yes. You don't have to have phenomenal numbers to be a good or great qb. You just have to be clutch, and not make the big mistake. EXCLUDING the Seattle/Philly games, he has not made the big mistake that cost us.

if you watched the game you would see he plays well. If we had VT this year we would be 3-6 not 6-3 and you know that.

TheDon
11-17-2005, 06:03 PM

Ok yeah....VT was terrible last year i know that...But if you atually read what i said. i said he hs been playing ok...but he hassent won any games for us excluding the 49ers game....and the only reason we were down was because the picks he trough...so he being playing cool but he doesnt deserve all the credit for or 6-3 record...or our wins.....and you dont have to have a great or QB to win games....Look at Trent Dilfer in 2001....i know you cant argue he was a good Qb...that nigga suck

But how about you actually read my post and you will see how he hasnt won a game for us

Don't forget the fans agree.

Bledsoe is the top probowl vote getting qb in the nfc right now.
