Who's better, Immortal Technique or Eminem? This includes Slim Shady since some people on this board say that the two are 'different'. Heh....... Anyway, who's better from a lyrical stand point? I'm not simply giving reference to battles per say, because personally I believe that Immortal Technique would freestyle the fuck out of Eminem. I'm really giving reference to who has better topics, who sounds better, who makes better hooks.... So what's your opinion?

Anyone can take big words and make them rhyme. And just because he raps about 'Pyramids' & 'Babylon' doesn't mean he's getting a point across. It's pretty much me taking porn star names, dildos, and pocket pooches and turning it into a rap. It's rhyming subject matter, nothing more!

Immortal Technique has stupid messages, outside of a couple of songs (Dance With The Devil, I'll give him that subject) and the worst flow on the mic! Kid's reading cue cards in the booth or something!

I like Immortal Technique, don't get me wrong, but he's got a long way to go as far as maturing on the mic. He needs to hook-up with a bigger label, or a better rapper to fine tune his skills, then we can see how good he can really be.

Eminem's wordplay is good, as compared to I.T.'s, going back to my previous point. One of Em's strong points is wordplay, listen to 'Dead Wrong' and you'll see exactly what I mean.

When I.T. does it, it just sounds to me as though he's reading, and trying to keep up with the beat. It doesn't sound like he's comfortable with some of his own rhymes, know what I mean?

Most people look at Eminem and their opinion is immediately changed by the fact that Eminem is 'commercial' now. If Em was still underground, this question wouldn't be asked. I can't think of many rappers who can come close to Em's flow, and as for creativity and wordplay, Eminem was eventually gonna decline over the years. It happens to everyone. Just beacause he's not as good now doesn't mean that he's suddenly 'wack', you need to look at his whole career and realise he is better than IT.
