Sonnage .Inphinite. 11-09-2005, 04:28 PM Find x if 4x = 8 Fixion. 11-09-2005, 04:30 PM x= 2 yay .Inphinite. 11-09-2005, 04:31 PM Complete the square x^2 - 8x + 5 Dominate 11-09-2005, 04:32 PM lmao... alright... x^2 - 9 + 20 = 0 find x (two solutions) D^Coy 11-09-2005, 05:24 PM i'm gonna get around it the easy way cause i sold my last graphing calculator. x = 3 x = |-3| :D SomethingAwfl 11-09-2005, 05:28 PM Here's an easy one. Find the Square Roots of the following numbers. 100 64 81 16 -1 PWNED. Aura 11-09-2005, 05:42 PM Uhm... 10 8 9 4 -1 doesn't have a square root does it...? How about this.... Y=3 X=4 2x+7y = 9x+15y D^Coy 11-09-2005, 05:45 PM How about this.... Y=3 X=4 2x+7y = 9x+15yShouldn't you be asking us to find x and y??? And i can't remember if the square root of -1 is 1 or 0. .LadyMarmalade. 11-09-2005, 05:46 PM Yeah. He gave the x and they and then the equasion. I sat there an I was like..uhhhh .Inphinite. 11-09-2005, 05:51 PM Square Root of -1 = i Step Ya Game Up, People! Questions to be answered: Complete The Square For: x^2 - 8x + 5 D^Coy 11-09-2005, 05:56 PM Square Root of 1 = i He said -1 improve ya game, boy! I meant -1... boy! Square root of 1 is 1 but square root of -1 = i Imperium 11-09-2005, 06:02 PM (x-4)^2-11 .Inphinite. 11-09-2005, 06:04 PM *Reps everyone* Props to Imperium getting it correct... You doing AS levels? Imperium 11-09-2005, 06:06 PM ^ya, maths, further maths, chemistry, eng lit and history....ill think of a question to ask next time round .Inphinite. 11-09-2005, 06:09 PM ^ya, maths, further maths, chemistry, eng lit and history....ill think of a question to ask next time round WHAT?! 5AS? Damn... What GCSE grades did you get? You'll be better than me if you're doing Further Maths... :(... I didn't do it because my college would only let me do 4 AS! Smh! BUT... I'll own you in Eng Lit. But, ye, good luck with it. Multiplaxed, 11-09-2005, 06:11 PM ^ya, maths, further maths, chemistry, eng lit and history....ill think of a question to ask next time round You are the type of person that annoys me. lol, your on TSR aswell. :( Imperium 11-09-2005, 06:19 PM f(x)=x^3+4x^2-11x+6 factorise f(x) completly and hence solve the equation. and sod off if i annoy people :p my further maths AS is spread over 2 years so im only taking 4.5 AS levels (or 5.5 including general studies) Aura 11-09-2005, 06:24 PM Actually no... You'd have to combine the like terms to get the answer to my question... I forgot what I typed, lol.. but an example of the answer would be: 42y=22x That's basically all you can do.. Aura 11-09-2005, 06:40 PM Yall need to put me on to that shit... We need to get like a tutorial forum going or something... That'll change the history of rap boards.. .Inphinite. 11-09-2005, 06:46 PM f(x)=x^3+4x^2-11x+6 f(1) = 1^3 + (4x1)^2 - (11x1) + 6 = 1 + 4 - 11 + 6 = 0 so therefore (x-1) is a factor. Then I just did long division because it's easier and Im not going to post it... but the answer is (x-1)(x+6)(x-1) so x = 1, 1 and -6. Imperium 11-09-2005, 06:49 PM ^dam right nice use of the remainder therom....a tutor part of RW would be immence, i'd but up for anything eng, history, maths whatever! Aura 11-09-2005, 06:52 PM Now history I can fuck with... I was never good in math... I'm all right... But everything else I'm a monster in.. .LadyMarmalade. 11-09-2005, 07:00 PM Everything else ha..
