Doing Uni applications, and I'm getting fucked over by the personal Statement section.

First Question:
How have you taken advantage of the educational opportunities you have had to prepare for college?

Considering I'm lazy as fuck, how can I work with it. Help me :(

Question 2:
Tell us about a talent, experience, contribution or personal quality you will bring to the University of California.

Question 3: (Open Ended)
Is there anything you would like us to know about you or your academic record that you have not had the opportunity to describe elsewhere in this application?

ADDITIONAL INFO:
You must respond to three short-answer questions using a total of no more than 1,000 words. Two of your answers must be limited to approximately 200 words each. A third question should be given an extended answer of approximately 600 words. You may choose which question to answer at more length.

Berkely is a world class Ivy League school. Your going to be paying 30 000 a year tuition. Good luck.

Second.........I've never seen such silly questions asked in the application process. Im baffled.

Yeah, I <3 Financial aid.

I'm unsure about if i'll get in as I slacked off quite alot at the end of the last school year having personal problems and shit. Still managed to keep a 3.25 GPA for that second semester though. Can't really say much about extra carricular activities , but that's sort of a mix between them problems and me feeling alien to the US school system. It's more likely that I'll decide to go to a career college anyway, tbh, especially with the program that High Tech Institute have. They help find you a job while you're in there; they're drafting program i the best out of all the vocational colleges; and they help you find a career job after you finnish their course in what ever county you want to live in.

About the questions, I'm gonna turn into the enemy here and blame the pussy liberal hippies for coming up with such gay questions.

No you dont love financial aid, when you come out with a degree and a 120 000 dollar debt at the ripe age of 22 and let me tell you now, a BA aint shit. At best you'll get (if your lucky) a shitty entry level job.

A career college is a much more 'thought out' way to go, so you dont get fucked in the ass, hard.

University should only be pursued if that's required for the field you want to be working in, ie lawyer, doctor, whatever else. Dont go to university for general education and certaintly dont go to an Ivy League for the sake of going. Especially if you want to pursue something like drafting. Go to a school that specializes and has good rep in whatever it is you want to do in the future.

No, I want to do Architecture as my preffered job field. Drafting is just a fall back plan.

Saracen: I think I put ya addy in wrong, ill add you again.

Wun: Yes, infact they prefer it to be done online.

Well I gotta make a couple of alterations to the first question, and I'm almost done planning the second one out. The third one should be a breeze.

Yeah thanks a million.

I was thinking of going to the University of California .. But with all this bullshit with the short essays etc.. it seems a bit odd . I agree with The Spectrum .. "you send them your transcript and a big fat cheque and your IN"

It's all good though, I got into the University of Oregon, and I want to go there more than stay in North Cali....it's about 5 times as more pricier, though. But, still I might just save hella cash and transfer out of the local junior college instead......
