Ever observe how some of my animated sigs have perfectly smooth animations? This is because I've tweened the animations. Here's a quick tut., just post if you have questions I'll gladly answer them.
First off, after you make your sig in PS, click this button on the toolbar that looks like
[PS Logo] ------> [ImageReady Logo]
It should transfer your sig to ImageReady, a program that installs with Photoshop. This is the scheme of tweening.
Frame 1 = Sig with original status.
Frame 2 = Sig with changed status.
Click the button on the Frame Map that looks like 5 circles fading out. Then choose a number of frames, the more you have, the larger the file will be, but the smoother the animation will be. Think of it as a Flip Book.
Now here are some tweening methods, simple ones, mix em in with your creativity and you can get some dope results.
1) For practice, just make a blank document in ImageReady with one Red square on the left side.
2) Make a new Frame, and in this new frame, move the square to the right side.
3) Click the tween button (fading circles on the Frame Toolbar) and choose the number of frames and click OK.
4) Click Play, you will observe that ImageReady bridges the gap between your two frames and makes the square move from the left to the right.
---------------------------
1) If you are following on and already did the first method, just continue from your last frame. If not, make a new blank document in ImageReady with a Red Square in a seperate layer from the white or black background.
2) Make a new frame. In the new frame, set the Square Layer's Opacity to 0%.
3) Click the tween button (fading circles on the Frame Toolbar) and choose a number of frames and click OK.
4) Click play and the red square will fade out.
....Experiment with these kinds of animations, and mix them around and all and see what you can come up with. Good-Tutorials is for rookies, if you want a real nice lookin sig, use your own creativity, like every single one of my animated sigs.
Feel free to post up any questions/problems you are experiencing.
NOTE :: My second signature is NOT tweened. I made about 20 seperate layers of the BioHazard symbol, each a couple notches more clockwise than the previous layer, and then in the First layer I made all of the Bio layers invisible except for the first one, and so on and so forth.
