The Stan James King George VI Chase has not been run at Sandown since One Man strolled away with the 1995 renewal, the first of his two victories in the race. This year, due to Kempton Park’s re-development, the Esher venue hosts the chasing classic once again and a field of eleven are entered for it at the five day stage.
