News around the office is that Mr. Sean Carter (Jay-Z) is preparing to launch a Roc-A-Fella West records. He has been in Los Angeles meeting with various artists while staying in Beverly Hills, Ca. I hear that he has also been out west recording with Dr. Dre (Detox maybe?) Immense, a huge underground rapper on the West Coast, has also recorded a few joints with Jay. He is scheduled to be the first artist on the Roc-A-Fella West roster. Also Sean Combs aka Diddy is talking about doing a BadBoy West. Jay is also in negotiations with Paramount Studios on releasing a movie on his life.
