Hustler 02-15-2006, 05:53 PM k, i've recorded a couple songs off the radio, and off video n audio streams off the net, and when you do this, you have that echo/background feel, where you can just tell that it was recorded off the radio or w/e, ... so my question is, is there a way to make it sound like i downloaded the track off kazaa....so it sounds normal???? Khameli-N 02-17-2006, 10:29 PM yes...wen u stream shit u gotta always choose the highest quality its encoded at...and u record thru ur soundcard not ur mic...u can steal beats off soundclick that way lol...but yeah recorded shit depends on the quality of the source...and u should never record thru a mic A.J. Khameli-N 02-20-2006, 01:15 AM u bring up the volume control window...click options/=>properties...switch to recording mode and select stereo mixer...then u can record sound thats currently going thru ur soundcard A.J. Hustler 02-20-2006, 02:34 AM ok, hold on, i switched the option thing to recording, then the boxes i see are... recording control ISS Aux microphone line in cd audio midi wave the only mixer device on it is ESS audiodrive....so what exactly do i pick/do after clicking the recording box...which thing is my stereo mixer, if there is one? RWs one for instace plays it at 24 or something low i can't remember what exactly... if its played lo fi you cant make it any better by recording it as it plays A.J. Khameli-N 02-22-2006, 12:45 AM u switch to recording then click okay...currently the column called "Mic" should b selected...play a song with media player or realplayer...select one of the columns apart from mic and open cooledit or sumthing and press record...if it doesnt pick up anything then select sumthing else...keep going until cooledit or watever u use records wat ur playing on realplayer...this is ur soundcard channel...wen u wanna record sumthing thru ur soundcard then select the column that works and record on cooledit or watever...this shit is kinda hard to explain A.J.
