Very fucking hard. Both very lyrical, top notch flows, good vocabulary, Phroahe has much more vocab though. Yea I have heard those songs and damn.... I dont know who to choose. I wanna say Mos Def out of biased, but ima go with Pharoahe Monch..... Brain twister, I have no REAL proof of why one is better than the other :(

i don't think they are comparable,
there styles are too different
mos def is better imo, he is more versatile.
he has put out a classic album with talib,
and his solo albums have experimented with different styles of music.

I think Pharoah is the most naturally gifted emcee to have ever been in the game, and he's got it all: good lyrics - normal spittin and has good deep tracks too, good concepts and an unfuckwithable flow. Mos is dope too... Has 2 classics under his belt.

Pharoah is mad nice. His breath control, delivery and flow is amazing. Only thing that let's him down is his inability to produce dope tracks/albums consistently, which is what Mos Def has accomplished over the years. I prefer Mos as an emcee, mainly coz Black on Both Sides is one of my favourite ever albums, and I could listen to his tracks all day, which is something I just can't say about Pharoah

I definitely agree. I think Mos Def put together a more complete solo album than Pharoahe Monch has, however, I prefer Pharoahe Monch as an MC.

Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Black Thought, Pharoahe all of these MC's remind me of each other, but what separates Pharoahe from them to me is his RETARDED FLOW. No one in the game has a better flow than this dude, it's just ridiculous.
