The house was straight outta the Simpsons halloween show/
Barely got onto the scene and I'm seeing some green glow/
Front door swings open, couple arms yank me in/
Tied to a chair is a man.... "Hank is iiin" /
Said with a hyena voice by the demon possessing/
I lean in and question him, he's steamin' n stressing/
Feelin' the blessings of the Father, I kneel for a session...
Of prayer, demon stares as he fiends for attention/

"Praying brings hope n faith" I say to the host's friends/
"I've dealt with him before, Hank's one of the most bent/
Let us all join in prayer, Father, we ask for your help"/
And then Hank, squirming, let out a gorish yelp/

Then the man who owns the body lets out a low whisper/
"Can't hold him off for long, get outta here mister"/
"Listen, whatever he told you, don't believe it/
Your soul is not withering, God can retrieve it"/

And as the man's replying, he starts eyeing me out/
With a glare so rare you'd be dieing to shout/
His facial expression becomes filled with agression now/
I need several peeps to hold him still and keep pressin' down/

"Is Mark still alive?" , a friend of the host asks/
"Yes, he is in there somewhere, just know that!"/

Then the demons power intensifies, all of us thrown back/
To the wall, then the bitch rips off his own straps/

He runs down the hall screaming, "this soul is mine bitch!!"/
This exorcisms over, just like his time is!!"

People around are frightened, "everyone calm down"/
The tension now is heightened, can't make one wrong sound/
I go after the sick fuck, just follow his laughter/
To the attic. I've had it with all of these mad hatters/
Whip out the holy water and cover the whole room/
With enough that all of it would smother the whole moon/
He screeches, God removing him like bleach does stains/
Feeling pain that's much worse than a leaking brain/

"Lord please keep him chained so he can't seek to mame/
Make him keeping the body harder then reaching fame/
Mark, listen to me, trust in the Lord/
And all your ties to the demon will be cut by his sword"/

Then he falls to the floor, totally exhausted/
Friends rush through the door to see him and an empty closet...

This def. wasn't my best topical, I just couldn't think of anything real good for this one, had bad writers block with the topic....but c'est la vie...

This is the story of Damien, a 18 year old teenager from Manchester, who, according to friends and family is unnatural in terms of his psychotic and erratic behaviour, although being brought up in a religious and well-regarded family. The family enlists the help of Rev Joseph King.

The Reverend puts his patient to sleep and tries to communicate to the demon he suspects resides within him.

On Topic: Tie - Both stuck to the topic well, couldn't really stray too far with an exorcism topic
Depth: Tie - Both explained the situation in a lot of detail, knew exactly what was happening throughout each piece
Imagery: Adam - Felt Saracen described more emotion and speech between Joseph and Damien within his verse, whereas Adam described what was happening to the possessed man more vividly
Originality: Saracen - Mainly because of the ending. The ending was really creative in the sense that it leaves you to ponder over the existence of an afterlife, and whether people will settle for that or give in to other temptations
Flow: Tie - Both flowed well to me, bit off now and again, but overall it was solid from both
Multis: Tie - Both had a nice, balanced use of multis, which weren't forced and were relavent
Enjoyment: Saracen - For me, Adam's story was a little bit expected. Kind of what you'd expect to happen if you know what I mean, whereas Saracen's ending was a lot more original and refreshing to read.
Vocab: Saracen - Adam's was a bit simplistic, Saracen used some out the box vocab which was refreshing to read

Overall: Saracen

Nice battle, both had a solid verse, explaining the situation in fine detail. Just felt Saracen put that little bit extra into his verse, especially the ending, which is what won it for him in my opinion

Pretty much this battle was half decent. Ive seen Adam and Saracen come with better stuff but, all in all the storyline that Sar did was dope. I felt the communication between Damien and the Priest. He portrayed it quite well, and the vocab he used was quite good.

This was a weak battle, but Saracen just out classed him in the more important categories.
