CRAZY MAKERS
BigPharma Involved In Stealth Agenda To Screen Teenagers For Mental Illnesses Without Parental Approval

Investigative Reporter, Pam Killeen, interviews Ken Kramer about TeenScreen, a dangerous agenda to push psychiatric drugs on millions of children

If you were a parent of a teenage child, how would you feel if your child was forced to fill out a questionnaire in school that had nothing to do with school work? What if you knew that the questionnaire was craftily designed to make almost every child that fills it out fall into a category that labels them with a mental illness? If you think this scenario sounds far fetched, you need to read this interview. What you will discover will surprise you, shock you, and more than likely enrage you once you learn how sinister pharmaceutical companies have become to push their toxic and dangerous psychotropic drugs.

Hasn’t society already sabotaged the health of our children enough? Now, to add insult to injury, BigPharma has an agenda to ‘duct tape’ the health problems created by the junk food and processed food industries by getting children on psychiatric drugs. If children have mood disorders (depression or anxiety, for example) or have Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), they can be helped by improving their diet and lifestyle and implementing healthy behavior modification. Resorting to psychiatric drugs is a cop out. Society is turning a blind eye to the real problems. Continuing to ignore the subject of nutrition is clearly going to further jeopardize the lives of our children.

How on earth did we get to the point where we feed our children such nutritionally inferior food? The answer is simple – it’s about corporate profits. When it comes to our children, no stone should be left unturned. Children deserve the best that society has to offer – they deserve the best foods (whole foods, organic foods, nutrient-dense foods) in order to develop properly. Instead of offering these choices, society has sold out, compromising children’s lives. Now, to cover-up the effects of poisoning our children with junk foods and processed foods, they want to label our children with psychiatric disorders. The field of psychiatry is yet another glaring example of how corporate profits have become more important than even the quality of our lives.

Ken Kramer is president of Data Search Worldwide, Inc., a document research and retrieval company based in Florida. He is also a volunteer researcher with the Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida. The purpose of CCHR is to investigate and expose psychiatric abuse.

Pam: Why did you become interested in TeenScreen?

Ken: A very alert friend spotted a small news blurb regarding TeenScreen trying to infiltrate the schools in Pinellas County, Florida. She was alarmed with the notion of mental health screening of all school children and asked if this could be looked into. After doing some research, TeenScreen was exposed as a very dangerous psychiatric drugging threat to children on this webpage: www.psychsearch.net/teenscreen.html. Luckily, a very astute school board here studied the documented evidence and decided not to move forward with it.

Pam: What are the goals of TeenScreen? Why are they implementing this program?

Ken: The goal of TeenScreen is to do their “suicide survey” on every child in the United States. TeenScreen is simply a marketing tool used by pharmaceutical companies to create more customers: Our nation’s school children. The more kids screened, the more are referred to psychiatrists. Psychiatrists are in the business of prescribing psychotropic drugs to children. As a result, psychiatric drug companies are working hand in hand with psychiatrists to increase profits by pushing drugs on our children. The “suicide survey” TeenScreen, done on children as young as 9 years old, consists of questions such as: “Have you often felt very nervous when you’ve had to do things in front of people? Have you worried before you were going to play a sport or game or do some other activity? In the last 3 months have you thought about killing yourself? Are you still thinking about killing yourself? Have you ever tried to kill yourself?”

If the questions are answered in a certain manner, the children are referred to psychiatrists who then diagnose the kids with bogus psychiatric disorders that have no basis in science, and then prescribe the dangerous psychotropic drugs.

Pam: How many children have already been subjected to TeenScreen? In other words, how many new clients has this created for the psychiatric industry?

Ken: This is unknown because of the secretive nature of TeenScreen. They keep actual school locations they’ve infiltrated confidential because they are afraid of an uprising against mental health screening and fear that these schools will be targeted by concerned parents. Most parents do not know this is occurring in schools. Even school boards in some areas are unaware of the actual documented facts regarding TeenScreen. In addition, TeenScreen keeps their funding secret and will not divulge who is backing them financially, which naturally raises suspicions. It has been documented that their national advisory board is full of major pharmaceutical company connections. It is highly recommended that parents contact their child’s school to ensure there is no TeenScreen operation in progress. .................................................. ......................

Pam: In Gary Null’s movie, “The Drugging of our Children”, I found it interesting that Michael Moore states that he wished he would have realized the connection between the psychiatric drugs and the shootings before he filmed “Bowling for Columbine.”

Ken: Hopefully, Mr. Moore and other film makers will follow through on this realization. There’s a very strong pattern showing that, one for one, straight down the line, school shooters have been linked to psychotropic drug usage, including the shooters at Columbine.

Pam: Are you familiar with some of the psychiatric drugs and can you describe their side effects?

Ken: Some of the infamous TMAP drugs can be found here: www.dshs.state.tx.us/mhprograms/disclaimer.shtm. TMAP is a pharmaceutical company marketing technique to sell “newer” higher priced psychiatric drugs. TMAP and TeenScreen are sister programs pushed by Michael Hogan’s “New Freedom Commission”. Hogan is the director of Mental Health in Ohio. So, it’s no wonder TeenScreen is springing up right and left in Ohio. Parents in Ohio need to be alerted. The side effects are too numerous to mention, but each psychiatric drug can easily be looked up on the net. Suicidal ideation is one side effect the FDA has repeatedly warned us about regarding these drugs. TeenScreen’s sales gimmick constantly stated is that “Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death amongst teens! Something must be done! This is how they try to gain sympathy from parents and school administrators. What they don’t tell you is that suicide in children is very, very rare. For instance in Florida, the number is 50 per year. Coincidentally, 50 is the same number of people who are struck by lightning each year in Florida. 50 out of close to 4 million children is not an epidemic. This is not to belittle the enormous grief any parent has over the loss of a loved one, however, parents in general should be aware of the facts.

Pam: I’ve read reports that say that up to 20% of the population could be diagnosed as being mentally ill. These mentally ill labels could include: attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attention deficit disorder (ADD), manic depression, schizophrenia, depression, social anxiety disorder etc....Sadly, once prescribed any psychiatric medications, these patients can be hooked for life. These drugs don’t really balance brain chemistry or improve one’s mood, do they?

Ken: There are no blood tests, x-rays, CAT scans or chemical imbalance tests done on children when psychiatrists diagnose them with ADHD or any of the other bogus ‘disorders’. It all comes down to a psychiatrist scratching his chin and deciding, “let’s see which ‘disorder’ label can we stick on this child today.” Of course, when the drugs don’t work, dosages are increased or are then mixed with other powerful mind-altering drugs. There is a reason the FDA has ordered a black box warning on these drugs as they can create suicidal ideation in children. Parents should ask for the test results that verify any of these ‘disorders’. Psychiatrists will not be able to provide biological test results because they don’t exist. In spite of having no biological testing, psychiatrists insist on using unworkable biological methods to treat patients.

Pam: Psychiatrists and pharmaceuticals portray themselves as having the answers for people suffering with mental illness. Oddly enough, even with all of their so-called solutions, we are being told that mental illness is on the rise. Clearly, they don’t have the answers yet they seem to be getting away with securing their future by using propaganda to lure in unsuspecting new clients. Isn’t this what TeenScreen really is all about?

Ken: Simply, TeenScreen is a cutting edge marketing tool used by psychiatric drug manufacturing companies working hand in hand with mental health “clinicians”. It is designed to deceive parents into thinking that TeenScreen actually cares about kids.

Pam: I have witnessed what happens to high risk foster children and how they are treated by the system. Some foster children are prescribed a variety of very dangerous psychiatric drugs. These drugs are used as “chemical restraints”, turning these children into “zombies”. Some of these drugs cause diabetes and have other dangerous side effects.

Ken: A July 2003 report, entitled “Psychotropic Drug Use in Foster Care”, by the Florida Statewide Advocacy Council, discovered that of the 1,180 children reviewed, 652 were on one or more psychotropic drugs. The report warned of the side effects of these drugs including suicidal tendencies. The report concluded that unnecessary dispensing of psychotropic drugs remains a threat to the children. They recommended that their findings be incorporated into an agenda in order to preserve and protect the health, safety, welfare and rights of children.

Pam: It’s important to protect current and future generations. Thank you for helping to expose this very dangerous lie. Please tell us about websites people can visit to find support and more information on this very serious issue.
