Both of you had pretty nice one's, I'll start with Chris. Your font was alright and the texture inside it is pretty cool, but doesn't match the rest of the CD at all. Also, it's rough around the edges with the outer glow. Also, the Part 3 font would be 10 times better if it had a simple Black Stroke on it. Ide, your font was decent, not particularly good because there's no holes in the G, D, O, etc. The color and texture was on point, though.


Layout :: IdE-iLL

Ide took this category by just a bit. Both the CD covers had nice, even layouts to them, but I was just feeling Ide's a slight bit more than Chris'.


Skill Display :: IdE-iLL

Ide you had a lot going on in your sig. Not too much, but not too little. I think I see tiny scan-lines in there, as well as a larger-squared grid on the sides, and then there's some emblem or something behind Kay Slay. Chris, you had an alright background with the horizon going on, and the explosion is pretty cool, but it doesn't all tie in together, the fire is just sitting there.


Pictures :: Chri$

Ide I know you changed the pic, raised the contrast at least, but the effect didn't turn out right. That high of a contrast doesn't look good for a real-life picture, maybe for a video game pic or something. Chris you didn't really change the pic at all aside from size, but it looks fine on the Cover.


Professionality :: IdE-iLL

Ide takes this easy, he's got a company watermark as well as the Parental Advisory.


Background :: Chri$

Ide you didn't really have much of a background aside from the thing behind Kay Slay and some grid patterns on the left and right. Chris you background was pretty good the explosion is cool and the horizon is decent.


Blending :: IdE-iLL

Ide you blended yours pretty nicely, the whole olive color looks nice. Chris your cover didn't really have much blending, you could've made the explosion a little less vibrant to match the background.


Creativity :: Chri$

There wasn't really anything super-creative from either of you, just regular covers with cool backgrounds and text etc. But Chris edged this by an inch with Kay Slay's hands hanging over the end.

Chris you're an alright GFX maker but Ide has really been on a roll with his GFX and I think he's ahead of you by some but nevertheless keep at it. Ide you know what's up.

Explanation -
On Chris' the text stood out too much for my liking(I think the gun was too much for it personally) and the render needed some work and to be blended in better. The background is good and I was feeling the explosion behind the render.

On Ide-Ill's everything came together quite nicely on this, not really feeling the font used but it went in well with the rest of the cover, I liked the blending and effects on the render. The colouration used on on it was different but it still looked nice.

IMO ide took all the cats..that was a sick cover the text loooked great and the color scheme was nice..the dark gold/yellow color made it raw...chris ya shit was alright but theres alot of room for improvement jus keep at it..

Didn't really feel like either deserved this vote, but I had to give it to someone so why not both.

Ide's blended better and matched better.

Ide actually took some blending steps rather than just sticking it on there.

Image Cutting - Chris
You don't really notice it because of the background, but Ide's has some choppy spots in it. Plus, if you notice, in Chris' cover KaySlay's hands grab the border of the image kind of. I like how he did that.

Overall, Ide's was hot, Chris' wasn't. Ide, you now have my respect as a designer. Just up your cutting ability and you'll be fine. Hell, you might have an invite to 2Fingaz soon.

Ide keeps it up, I might be asking him for some grunge techniques. I do see him using some original styles I havn't seen from anyone else.
