Hi, this tutorial will teach you how to give a person an angel-looking effect, to give ur piece a dreamy-like feel.
1--First, open a new document of anysize you would like to use for this effect. I am going to make mine 500x500.
2--Now that you have your document open, take your already cutout person and copy/paste it on ur document. So far so good.
3--Next, go up to Layer > Duplicate Layer..., and name it whatever you want and press "OK".
4--Now, select the bottom layer of this picture and go up to Image > Adjustments > Desaturate. By pressing this you have made the color of this picture black and white.
5--Then, with the desaturated layer still selected below the colored one, go up to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur..., and make the radius around 3-4 and press "OK". Even though you shouldn't be able to see much of it, you will see a small grayish, blury border around the regular picture.
6--Finally, select the top layer of the picture now and go up to Layer > Layer Options > Blending Options..., and set the Opacity to around 50%, however you can play around with exactly how much until you get just the right amount of the effect that you want.
That's It. This is my first tutorial so dont get mad at me because I didnt provide pictures for each step. It shouldnt be that difficult to figure out. I hope this tutorial helps you to make the dreamy-looking gfx you want! XD
