They're both funny as shit. Chris Rock been on the scene longer. In my opinion Dave Chappelle is more creative. He's a GENIUS at story telling (if you ever seen him on Def Comedy Jam when he told the story of the N Word you'll see his genius). Chris Rock has been in funnier movies and played generally funnier roles but Dave Chappelle in my opinion is the most down to earth (no pun intended) celebrity I know of.
