Shit was tough to watch in a way. I was hoping they'd just kill him off, but it looks like they may bring him back as Chef Vader... But I can't lie, I was laughing :(.

"I would. Like. to lay ya down nice and slow. Children!"

Haha...

I heard about this, cos they ridiculed Tom Cruise for his Scientology beliefs and Isaac Hayes is a Scientologist too. Tom Cruise apparently used his infuence to get a re-run of the episode where they spoofed him taken off the air as well.

How can Scientology be called a religion, what the hell is it? If they believe science is responsible for the creation of mankind and, in theory they shouldn't believe in God, why the hell is it called a religion? Id hate to live in America, so many poor confused people

The particular episode showed (literally) what Scientologists believe. It mocked it. Basically I cant remember all the names and all that shit but Scientologists believe that some Ruler of Some planet years and years ago captured all the negative inhabitants of his planet and put them in some ship. The ship then traveled here to Earth where they were released into the volcanos on our planet for them to burn to death. But as they burned in the volcanos their souls began to travel back upward. The ruler of w/e planet they came from anticipated this and invented ships to deflect their negative spirits. The spirits then roamed the Earth freely until it came upon cavemen and entered them. Scientologists believe this is why we feel sad, depressed, angry, etc. They feel that is the root for all negative feelings. And it was started by L Ron Hubbard, a Science Fiction writer.

You don't have to worship a God to call what you believe in a religion.

And, just because there's a few idiots in the US, doesn't mean the country as a whole is like that.

I'm Canadian though, so I don't really care either way.

They're calling the whole affair "Chefgate" on Attack of the Show. I was completely shocked when I heard about Chef going though....but then I haven't seen South Park in the best of 2 years. :(

That's Scientology??? Well fuck me sideways and bury me in the sand... The fact that it was written by a science fiction writer was the only thing that made any sense whatsoever to me...

Amazing

^Yeah but I mean I'm pretty sure they have other basis for their religion that's just the story.

They must have a more solid foundation than that, they must do...
