Which program do you prefer to use and why? I used to prefer photosop more but since i have been at uni i have noticed illustrator seems way more technical and 100 times better for text. Photoshop is almost just a photo manip program and it should be used only for text that isnt meant to be read.
Illustrator also has vector graphics meaning u can re size without distorting the image or text whihc is a great ability they should add to photoshop. I know they are hard to compare but i now prefer to use Illustrator. Discuss :)

^^ you cant prefer anything, because you use Illistrator for cartoons and logos ect. stuff like free hand stuff. photoshop, its more effects on photos. you cant prefer them.

you should have said something like...

what do you prefer, Fireworks or Photoshop..

^I agree with Clusion. in some ways I think you really need both programs since theyre better at different things and cant really be compared in some ways ~1~

wtf,any way is illustrator really that good, cuz if it aint no point me downloading it is there, fukin, however i would choose photoshop over paint shop pro because i just dont like paint shop pro, however with fireworks and photohop it depends, i would use both because i think animation is way easier in fireworks than it is in photoshop, now i think about it, i aint even made an animation sig in photoshop.
