Right ive had an X-Box for about a year now and ive never really used it im thinkin about goin live anyone no how i can do this?? and wat its gonna take?

Go to any electronics store nearby, and buy either a 3-Month live card or a 12-month. I dunno about the 3 month but the 12 month costs $50 don't know waht that is in UK tho. Anyway, you also have to get an internet connection, for like $40-50 you can get a wireless router that connects to your xbox and then it picks up the internet connection off of your main Broadband Router. If you have your xbox close to your main router, then you can just get a cheap $10 cable and manually connect it and you'll get really nice connection. Once everythings connected, turn on the Xbox without any disk inside and go to Xbox Live and follow the steps.

^^^You don't NEED that but you should really get one when you've got the extra money.


IMPORTANT!!! You can't just buy a headset and put it into your controller. Unless you get the Xbox Live Starter Set, you'll need to buy a seperate $8-10 adapter. The adapter plugs into the memory slot on top of your controller, and then the headset plugs into the adapter.

Then you should have one of these hooked up to your main comp already. (If you have one internet source wirelessly supplying internet to computers etc.)

Then the top pic plugs into your xbox and it can wirelessly pick up the internet connection and voila.

yeah......get a 3-month starter kit just to get u started........headsets are optional....(to be honest, u should just go to the xbox website) but the 3 month starter kit has all the explanations in it on what u need to do.......once u get live hit me up.....
