...and this year, it's even bigger and even better than before brought to you by SureShot Entertainments and Detonate Promotions in association with 1Xtra.

The main event will take place at Nottingham's Rock City on Bank Holiday Monday 29th May 2006.

Also witness some of the finest turntablists the Midlands has to offer battle it out for a chance to represent the UK as the UK Takeover 4 will be the venue for the DMC UK DJ Championship regional heats.
AND the event will feature another emcee battle to end all emcee battles - the 60 Second Assassin.

Tickets will be £15+BF and will be on sale soon and courtesy of 1Xtra, we're going to be running free coaches from across the country.

lol i wouldn't be too sure bout that.. i went nottingham last year.. i didn't know notts has the highest gun crime rate in the uk.. i was at rock city.. left early.. hung about outside with a few mates and next thing i know, gun shots are heard and a crowd run off and one guy lays flat on the floor for the ambulance to come..

We knew the southerners would say shit like "why's it in Nottingham" so courtesy of 1Xtra FREE coaches will be available from Brighton, London, Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle, Cambridge & Bristol. To get a place, when you buy your ticket from the main ticket outlets in these cities, make sure you fill in your details on the form - but be quick as places are LIMITED.

The tickets are on sale at selected outlets across the country as soon as we can drive around and drop tickets off!! (Northerners and Midlanders tend not to have a problem driving about)

i didn't say it was inside rock city.. i was outside and it definately was rock city, we saw blink 182 on april the 17th 2005 i think.. but the shooting was close.. the matey who shot this other guy used one of those mobile phone guns.. but he was arrested about a week later on various drug charges and a witness pointed him out in a lineup.. i was stayin at my ex gf's house in aspley in nottingham for a couple of months at the time..

I went Nottingham last July to a Doc Brown gig, the town centre was full of Uni pussies. It's only in certain outlying areas where gun crime is most prevelant, there's about four estates surrounding the city centre, all renowned for gang warfare.

Anyway keep me posted on this Mr. Event Promoter, Im definitely interested but I'll need to know where and when tickets are available, plus if the coach is free I can hop on at Manchester. Just make sure I don't miss it like I did last time haha
