Why does everybody at this site have to copy off of eachother? Serious, this is the only site I've seen with actual graphic trends. First it was the pixel fonts, then the grunge fonts, then the swirly text added to the grunge font. The grunge font has gone through a couple stages itself in style. Cement, dirty, actual grunge, etc... Now everybody is doing this burnt and broken away board stuff that I did a year ago on my REAL sig.

Here's a word of advice people. To get known in the graphics world, you have to be original. Nobody wants shit that looks just like everybody elses shit. What if Ja Rule was to come out with a CD cover of him sitting on some rims with a solid colored background? It'd be typical Ja, but that's not the point.

The main style i see being used on this site the most is the curly text over teh bold normal fon't, which IMO looks utter shit and ugly...and the burn out effec i've only seen Rambo and Sixshot done so far..meh maybe they like sharing there techniques, i personally don't tell people so i won't have people doing sigs like mine...

There are a few peeps that are original, but I will say something though that a lot of you won't like:

Ive realised the other day when someone mentioned something about oficialpsd's (the psd's website) that all that a lot of you guys are doing is using renders from that site, copying and pasting a pic of new york or some street, adding some text and adding a few brushes. That is not making a sig my friends, Ive noticed that a lot of people on this site that are considered "Good" grafix heads, dont actually know shit.

Im not saying Im a fucking expert or anything, but a lot of my sigs are complex, with good use of photoshop and its options. And there are a handful of peeps that do actually know what theyre doing.

This is just an observation, no hate!

^ Must agree, but you gotta realise on some of the sigs which look simple, get alot work put in, it's just not that noticable..but i know where you commin form...

edit: Question, how come your renders are always squashed or stretched...

But yes, most of them do do that. No stratigic design, no instinct, just a stock bg, some downloaded brushes, and a precut render, and some simplistic text.

i try made my own BG like the banks one ere... i only jus started to use stocks because i see some random pics and i think "o, that will look good with a pic of ..... on it". so i try do it.

im gonna try make at least one sig aday, to try and elevate. I only just figured out how to put a image inside a font, for fuck sake lol. so yea im learning, but people gotta remember, rookies are going to copy good gfx heads, so they can get inspiration.. iv looked at blessed, artz and azims sigs and looked at what they got on and misserably failed to try and add the same sorta shit in mine lol.
