there's a site on the net.. that you can search all insurance companies in the uk for the cheapest quote.. only thing is i don't know the name of the site lol but my mate used it before and he got a pretty good deal

Its cheap because its the third car we're currently insured by them so they gave us a little discount, and because as I said my dad insured himself on it first then just added my name as a listed driver, so the car isn't in my name or anything. The car is a Punto..

Is a listed driver the same as being a second driver? Because I heard that Insurance Companies may know when your not the main driver of the car and if you need to claim they won't pay out.

Yea, a listed driver basically means you use the car whenever you want, but just not as much as the main driver. If you claim, they have to pay out... You've paid them the insurance and so if you claim, depending of course on the specifics of the accident, they have to pay up.
