yo wat up yall? I know dis gone sound funny, some dude tryna come and ask people tha best way to get signed, but I wanted to know. I'm tryna get signed and I know most rappers are tryna get signed, but I am workin on my album or demo cd, but I have no beats on it. Do you think that would be a problem? And how many tracks do you think I should put on it? And one more question probably the biggest question that everyone wants to know, who do you give it to when your all done? Do you try and send it in to a label and see if they send you somethin back or what?

basically, you gotta know the right ppl that can give you hook ups with certain people. thats how my friend got signed. he happened to know someone that was good friends with the ceo of a record label.

or maybe you have to be talanted, and have something about you that stands out from 99% of rappers out there trying to get signed ...

Na I've been at this for a minute jus never really thought about it, we just be battlin at skool and stuff. I just never thought about gettin signed before I just did it for fun. I'm 16 yea its young but still.

Ight first off in a long process of getting signed don't send ya shit to a record label cuz they gonna get that shit and throw it in the trash.Second how the fuck you gonna expect to send something without beats?? You need to first find someone who can make beats for you maybe a friend or someone in your city that might be popular and link up with him,after you've done this you need to find a studio not one of these backyard studios but one where they have good sound recording and good boards and everything. Once you've done this you need to find you a manager a GOOD manager and get thme to listen to yo shit,get you a buzz goin...... Wait your not old enough to get into the clubs get one of your older friends to maybe get ya music in the clubs IF it's good enough then start creating you a local buzz that way you'llbe known in case a label happens to call and say hey do you know this dude and people be like yeah, and you need ot be grinidin 24/7 whether at school work whatever you need to let these dues know you serious after you've donw these things you'll be on ya way but don't think its gonna happen in one day it's a long process but IF you got the drive and the talent and IF you're different from everyone else then you can make it.......
