This is a sad fucking thread. Music wise, 50 and Pac are not compareable. Tupac was a much better artist. The question you want to ask is, who was the better business person. In this case, 50 Cent was better business wise. Although if it wasnt for eminem and Dre's Joint venture on 50, 50 would probably be on the streets whining about other artists and the fact that he got dropped from Columbia cause he got shot 9 times.

50 Cents marketing campaign was genius. It was all centered around the fact that he got shot 9 times. 50 Cent was thrust into the mainstream in 2003, 7 years after pac died, 7 years (6 years, biggie?) after the rap industry's last living legend that was real hood got shot and died. After Pac/Biggie died, there havent been any real through bred rappers out there. Just bubble gum rappers that cant prove they led a life close to anything they rap about. Not even Nas. Then comes 50 Cent, scars, lisp and all with a long rapsheet and a hole in his fucking mouth cause he got shot. Backed up by Dre and Em, millions in investments in marketing, hell it coulda been a Vanilla Ice and he woulda probly sold as many albums. 50 Cent is a fucking puppet.
