bogart 05-28-2006, 10:44 PM Just Blaze? Nah, he didn't make the beats
I've heard the beat somewhere before though.
I assure you that Just Blaze produced "Touch The Sky" for Kanye West. It has been said in numerous interviews, and if you actaully read album credits or were in fact a producer who studies his field, you would know this. And to add on, he supposedly did the entire thing on his MPC 4000.
Donmega 05-29-2006, 05:58 AM Hell No
I've heard that exact beat in a song before by a soul singer.
If you have the CD, try to read the liner notes & see where it contains samples from.
bogart 05-29-2006, 10:25 AM ...You got to be kidding me...of course he sampled the song. You are totally contradicting yourself. If your implying that you have read the album credits, you would see that Just Blaze's name is right in the top. And of course you heard the song before because Blaze sampled it. God how stupid can you be. You go from saying that Kanye made it, to an old soul singer made the whole song which Kanye just took and rapped over, to proving that Just Blaze produced it.
Get your facts straight boy.

When the hell did I say Kanye produced it? Man you're weak, claiming I said something when I didn't, smh.
The beats on both songs sounds excatly the same. Just Blaze probably remastered the beat, that's why it says he produced it.
Get your facts straight boy.

You implied that. And no, he did not "remaster" the song you dumb fuck. Listen to the orignal sample, and Just Blaze's version. God damn, I've even seen videos OF HIM doing the song on his MPC. You probably don't even know what a MPC is. If you think he just "remastered" the song, I guess that means Kanye West, Premo, & all the million other producer who sample just "remaster" the song. Oh yeah, your real smart.

First of all, who are you telling to grow up? You’re the one who’s lying & swearing. Smh, grow up sonny. And why are you all over Blaze's dick? Relax son. You're not him alright & It’s not like you’re going to get credit for his work or royalty check for his beats. So chill. You fanatic fans crack me up.
I'll try to find that song I was talking about. I've heard that beat before. I think I've heard it as the ending song on the British move called "Bend It like Beckham" (From 2001 I think). The beat sounds exactly the same.

Fanatic fan? LMAO, I just hate to see ignoramuses go online and act like they know shit about subjects they don't know. You don't know music production, so don't comment about it. That is all I'm saying. And you think I need to grow up because I said "fuck" and "damn"? Son, you are very misguided. And about the "lying", search my posts and tell me where I lied.
About the beat, like I have been saying, you have probably heard it before because it is a sample. Take Beanie's "The Truth", produced by Kanye West. Kanye sampled that song from Crossby, Stills, & Nash. So quite whinning about this shit.

Yes fanatic. Why else would you attack me because of some small shit like this? It's just a beat. We're going to get to button of this so chill.
And you called me a "Dumb Fuck" & accused me of claiming that Kanye West produced the song.
Assume my ass

What the hell are you talking about. There was no such beat in Beanie Sigel's "Truth" album. The one I heard was sung by a soul singer.

I think the point he was implying, was that because the main riff on the song was sampled, Just Blaze shouldn't get to much credit for it. People aren't liking it because of his drum riffs (Although those can be sampled to, im not sure, never heard the original.)
