I'm currently trying to make up my mind on what to major in, i'm starting the 12th grade in September and trying to pick my major by the beginning of the semester for Application and Scholarship issues.

I'm feeling to pick between:
Architecture
Advertising
Marketing
Or possibly a career in the Airforce.

Just wondering what the people here in RW Majoring in..

Out of those I personally would pick Architecture. There's this one site we once looked up in Economics class where you can pick an occupation and they can tell you how good the job outlook is on it in terms of pay, availability, demand, etc.

Anyway, I'm going to Officer School after Highschool, or I might do 1 year in the Marines to help pay for it and then go to Officer School. From there I don't know the specifics like engineering, spec-ops, training, intel, blahblahblah I'll see what I enjoy the most.

I'll probably make a career out of being a homeless bum scrounging for loose change. :(

My aunt majored in Sociology in spain, she got a job in the UN and got to travel around the world working with governments and People. Right now she's working on some South American organization, and she's in Columbia working with the Guerrillas.

But yeah, im leaning more towards Civil Engineering, I've taken a few classes and i liked them. Also pay is pretty good.

Airforce is now at the top of my list, depending on the next elections and on how much exactly i get from schollarships, i'll end up enlisting.

^My cousin graduated from college back in '02, and has really done well as an engineer. He went from rolling in a used Honda Civic, to owning two Lexus'. Pay is definitely not an issue in that field.

I'm entering my senior year as well, and I'm not dead-set on what I want to do either. I'm considering something in meteorology or possibly film.

I'm going into Pharmacy. I'm going to University of Houston in the fall to start my pre-pharmacy course. There's a great demand for pharmacists in recent years, so great that 6 months before you graduate college, most people are offered several job positions, starting at $100,000 a year. STARTING OFF.

And I've always liked Chemistry and Math, which are both needed for this occupation. And if I go into the Research aspect of this job, They'll start me off $120,000 at least. So I'm gauranteed a lot of money.

Out of your choices, I'd definitely choose Architecture. If you changed marketing to Business Management, however, then that'd be the first choice. Money = Fantastic.

I'm gonna be a senior in highschool, and I have no idea what I want to major in. Something in science... that's all I've narrowed it down to.

well ima freshman in college and i still dont have a major yet. Im transfering from a community to a bigger college next fall and i havnt really decide what i want to do. Either graphic design(not much money) Film production or w/e its called ( hard to get into a job in that field) or i could just say fuck it and work for my parents business. I havent decided yet, alot of people change there majors during college so its not really sumthing u should be worried about right now.

Well, I'm currently majoring in Aeronautical Systems Engineering. I have to major in that for now because I go to Kent State University. Next Fall I'm transferring to UCLA and will switch my major to Aerospace Engineering. They have the same core classes so it's like not switching majors at all.
