View Full Version : whose better NAS or BIGGIE Mack187 07-07-2006, 11:52 PM they both are in the top 5 in the history of rap but I say B.I.G is better, what do yah think. Cold 07-08-2006, 03:46 PM heres what i say some times... Illmatic Nas > Biggie but... at the end of the day i will say Biggie > Nas ZuLou 07-08-2006, 03:53 PM Nas>Biggie. Because Biggie never had a chance to become better at his craft. Nas has Illmatic, Stillmatic, Lost Tapes, and God's Son, all ill CDs. Biggie's best CD imo was Ready To Die. And At least two of Nas's albums shit on it. Cold 07-08-2006, 05:34 PM Nas>Biggie. Because Biggie never had a chance to become better at his craft. Illmatic > Ready to die Ready to die > any other nas cd ZuLou 07-08-2006, 06:50 PM Illmatic > Ready to die Ready to die > any other nas cd I don't agree with your second comment. Either you haven't fully explored Nas's library, or you're just dickriding Biggie because he's dead. I'm tired of that. People are always stressing how tight Pac and Big are when they need to be saying how tight Pac and Big WERE. Not disrespecting the dead, but there are better rappers out there now, some that were better than them even in the past. Not trying to start beef, but get over it. Stillmatic > Ready to Die God's Son(Highly Underrated) > Ready to Die The Lost Tapes = Ready to Die NajibNajib 07-08-2006, 10:32 PM I don't agree with your second comment. Stillmatic > Ready to Die God's Son(Highly Underrated) > Ready to Die The Lost Tapes = Ready to Die Well personally i think big is better, like u have ur own opinion. But Nas said himself that he was lyrically scared of big. Cause when they was gonna do the Gimme the loot remix after hearing bigs Verse he said he got up and went home and thats when he realized that Big's thinking process was way serious than his. Stillmatic > Ready to Die God's Son(Highly Underrated) > Ready to Die The Lost Tapes = Ready to Die God son better then Ready to die huh? no... god son was good.. but not better then Ready to die. Big lryics, story telling, and flow was just nuts on Ready to die. i got God Son and i like it... but no one near as much as i like Ready to die. Sin-cer 07-15-2006, 07:49 PM ready to die > ill matic ready to die was more diverse than illmatic and had raw beats biggie had better flow..nas had the lyrcism but still at the end of the day big in 2 cds bests any other rapper live or breathing PhenomiCz 07-18-2006, 06:52 AM notorious B.I.G. apolis 07-21-2006, 02:38 AM I like Biggie way beter then Nas Gho$t Writer 07-22-2006, 12:21 AM Nas shits on BIG.BIG bit Nas album cover.lol sorry i just thought that was funny when raekwon and Ghostface was talking about that Dj Dimez 07-22-2006, 01:48 PM BIG>>Nas...lyrically. Nas cant reach BIG's level, no matter how many cds BIG would have made, im pretty sure Nas wud never match em... Uptown 07-24-2006, 12:43 PM Biggie is way better than Nas Dj Dimez 07-24-2006, 05:02 PM Biggie is way better than Nas was...*sniff*...lol... propro 05-15-2007, 01:42 AM Nas quite comfortably imo. Lyrically i think Nas is much better than biggie was. People keep going on about multies but theres more to lyrics than that. 80% of biggie's songs are always money cash ho*s. No doubt he was a great rapper and ready to die is one of the best albums ever made but Nas's discography sh*ts on big's. And ive heard enough of "had B.I.G lived longer" , sorry but he didn't, we can only judge him on what he has put out. It was great but if you want to look at it this way he was going way commercial in Life after death and I think he would have kept going in that direction. He really didn't have that much subject matter to rap about compared to Nas. So Imo NAS >>> Biggie. No Disrespect to B.I.G, he was a great rapper. Just think NAs is better in every way. fas-b 05-17-2007, 03:04 PM Nas>Biggie. Because Biggie never had a chance to become better at his craft. And At least two of Nas's albums shit on it. come on Zulou, everybody likes the boi Nas and knows he's the best but saying is better than BIG(the greatest)...DAMN... I don't think so man, plus the only album that can be compare to Ready to DIE is ILLMATIC all them shit u mentioned are way below BIGGIE'S shits.... johnnyfranchise 05-17-2007, 11:05 PM nas.... better imagery...more complexity....better content....in my opinion nas was better in every way Shorty Forty 05-30-2007, 03:33 PM Nas was a man who rapped in Pac & BIG era but still...I think BIG. BIG is like East Coast's Pac propro 05-30-2007, 08:06 PM plus the only album that can be compare to Ready to DIE is ILLMATIC all them shit u mentioned are way below BIGGIE'S shits.... I think Stillmatic is also on par with Ready to Die. Its a different style, so hard to compare, but just my opinion. Lyrical Abuse 06-02-2007, 02:58 PM nas.... illmatic>ready to die it was written=ready to die dat sums it up.. 2DaBone 06-02-2007, 08:27 PM Nas is a great rapper and i think he's probably one of the rappers that comes the closest to being as BIG as biggie and eventhough all biggie raps about is money and hoes, no rapper can rap about $$ and Hoes like B.I.G. btw. Illmatic is just that but ready to die is greater McKriss 06-09-2007, 03:57 PM B.I.G., no question. To me, he is second only to 'Pac. Nas is one of the best living rappers, though aRTisTic 06-09-2007, 04:01 PM biggie is no even close to nas, there both legends, but biggie is not on his level illmatic stillmatic god's son HHID lost tapes and biggie talks about the same shit, nas switches it up so i say NAS> [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > [blank] > Biggie |
