alright, its not exactly for an artist, but its more a soundtrack type album cover, and after this piece i believe im going to try and stop doing champloo stuff for a while... i thought it came out looking nice, seeing how it went along with the vibe of the series itself...

Banz had a good drop but the BG was like hihgly unoticeable
do to how big the stock was, I was likes Bonez because his
BG was nice, dope, and shiney which easily caught my eye.

Blending: I think Bonestarr had some basic blending(brush over render) which in this case seemed to work. I think Bananaz blending was more as similar colors of the render and background, which also works.
Brushing: Well I'm not sure if Bananaz used brushing or the pen tool for the shapes, but I'm guessing the pentool so he didn't do much brushing. Bonestarr had some pretty nice brushing, got a little repetitive seeing the same thing everywhere though.
Creativity: Bonestarr was pretty creative making the background psychadelic. Both were different types of styles though, but I liked Bananaz vector work which looked pretty creative.
Text: Bananaz looked a bit too plain for a OST. I would expect something a bit more. Bonestarr's looked pretty average. Both text's could use a bit more work.
Effort: Both covers looked pretty hard worked on. I found Bananaz looked a bit rushed especially on the render work.
Background: Apparently Murderous doesn't know a bg is all about brushes. I haven't seen many vector backgrounds on this site so that's what made it stand out much more, and it is also very nicely done. Bonestarr's background fits the "psycadelic" theme very well.

Overall: My overall vote goes to Bananaz/iLove mainly because it was more original, and personal preferance. Good battle.

LOL, thats the idea, if you have ever tried magic mushrooms you would really understand the nature of this peice, the kids paranoid because he can't get the colours out of his head, or stoping himself from seeing them... Im glad you said this, it means that I got the effect right on the BG :cool:

Design: Bone (I like it more, just looks nice, and goes well)
Effort: Tie (Both seem to have a lot of effort put in, and alot of thinking went into both)
Creativity: Bone (I personally think theres alot more creativity in it)
Text: Bone (Bananaz was WAY too simple, i like bones i think it fits, although the positioning of the title is wierd, but the artist name position is perfect)
Blending: Bananaz (I think you blended yours better)
Image Cutting: Tie (your cutting was good, and both seem to be perfect)
Brushing: Bone (Yours works real well, and goes well with the theme of the album, i liked Bananaz but your was slightly better IMO)

iLove - Text was too simple and I didnt like the "Samuel Champloo" text, other than that it was dope.

Bone - I liked the brushing alot but I think the whole thing would of worked alot better on a sig, it just didnt seem right to me on an album cover. I liked the theme you had going with the kid and everythiing though.
