Don't hate my list because I asked a question. I think Life's a Bitch is overrated. It may have nice lyrics, but I find it boring IMO. As for the other songs, I'll have to listen to them a little bit more. I only play NY State of Mind on a daily basis.

Get off Bone's dick, Illmatic is overrated. Yeah, I said it. Overrated. I listened to that disc once through (I'm usually a dude who has to listen to a CD twice to like it) and couldn't find one track that really caught my ear. Yeah, it's lyrical, but I can only listen to so much of Nas before I get sick of his flow. I might give it another listen, but I'm not in any hurry...

Anyways... Suprisingly, come to think of it, there aren't many albums I can listen to without skipping a track. As much as I love Fort Minor's The Rising Tied, Slip Out The Back is a weak track, and I skip over it every time. Same with some of my other favorite artists such as Apathy, Fabs, Jay-Z and Meth.

Gnarls Barkley - St. Elsewhere
Linkin Park - Meteora
Styles Of Beyond - Megadef
Common (Even though he's a mulatto hater) - Be

Illmatic.. and thats about it really. The only album i don't even CONSIDER skipping a track, ever. Every other album i usually skip over 1 or 2, but here are others:

Chino XL - Here To Save You All (thats the closest)
Nas - It Was Written
Wu-Tang - 36 Chambers (sometimes i skip Clan In Da Front, and i never listen to the last track)
AZ - Doe or Die
AZ - AWOL (i skip Envious though)
Common - Be (i skip Testify)
Cormega - The Realness (hmmm..)
Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt (Friend or Foe, eh)
Little Brother - The Listening (skits)
The Roots - Illadelph Halflife (skits)
A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders (i dunno why, its the only Tribe album i never really skip tracks on, but its not the best Tribe album)
Aesop Rock - Labor Days (eh..)

He doesn't approve of interracial relationships, especially a black man with dreadlocks marrying a white woman because it would be would be "going against what the dreadlocks purpose was". He makes good music, but the guy is a faggot. That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard in my life. Shut the fuck up, Common.

Yeah, him and Kayne really need to shut the fuck up. I actually like Common as an artist....but what keeps me from liking him is that he is truly rasict as hell. Like "Black males can marry white women, but White males can't marry black women" and other shit..........as far as Kayne's overrated ass...I won't even get started.

Look man, this thread is based on peoples personal prefference, which means that there will be different answers according to different peoples taste in hip hop, The Illmatic album aint on my list because there are a couple of tracks I just don't like all that much, It don't mean I hate the album, it just means that I prefer other albums....
