I didn't like the outcome, but portrait painting really isn't my forte. She ended up looking like Elijah Wood lol. :(

Wow, that looks really great... very artistic, I wish I could paint, I like how you worked on the shadows and midtones of her face, but I think you went a little bit wild wth the hoghlights :/ lol

Thanks lol, I agree. I was going to keep her face blue and fairly monochromatic, but I was anxious to start and the brown underpaint started seeping through...so I busted out the peach.

Oh and if you don't know - most people put down a few layers of tan or brown (underpaint) before starting so the texture of the canvas doesn't show through.

I have to spred more rep before I can rep you again.

^No I didn't know about the underpaint, I forgot to say that this painting reminds me of that vector pic of Audrey Hepburn (At least I think its her) Ive got it up in my room.

Oh yeah, and well done with the hair, that was probaly the hardest part huh?

Getting the texture of the lips was actually; then the hair lol. It doesn't show in the pic, but there's some detail to it..too dark to show up though.

Wow, that shit looks hard, I never could paint.
But looks like you got some skills, nice job.

It's good. Very good. YOu managed to capture light and shadow wonderfully on her face.

There are a few subtle imperfections which I can't help but keep looking at, but then that's me, and I seek utter perfectionism with realism.

Still, technically, it's a dope piece.

Pretty cool, not as good as your sketches, but better than anything I can come up with and I'm decent at painting.
