Nas dropped the best album ever...and i'll always love him 4 that...he's still nice...just not THAT nice...

Canibus has got to be the biggest natural talent out there...raw as fuck...could easily by the greatest mc of all time, but L...there's just something about him. He ain't got the crazy vocab that Bis be spitting...but he's just fuckin nice...wordplay, metas, flow, multi's, humour...shit, he's just the nicest.

I never got to hear enough of Big L to accurately gauge him. The material I did hear was dope as hell, but not ground breaking for me personally. RIP.

Nas has the lyrics. Nas has the voice. Nas has the flow. Nas has the vocabulary. Nas has the story telling. Nas has definitely influenced more people than Bis. Nas also released what's considered probably the best Rap album ever. (Illmatic) Nas' weakness has been his beat selection. Why couldn't he just stick to Premier? Alchemist? Havoc? LES?

Canibus is sick lyrically though, and easily one of the better MC's to freestyle. He can squeeze bars together for miles. He outshined pretty much every MC he has ever collaborated with including Nas, Pharoah, and Rakim. The problem with Bis is his ability to hold my attention for 12 tracks straight. The subject matter does get tired.

I'd say Nas is the better overall MC.

Canibus got beat by LL cool J. He's Out.

Nas Had One good album, then he flopped.

Big L had much better flow then both, the rhyming L had of putting about 5 different rhyming sylibles in one line is something both nas and bis are far from, matter of fact Bis' rhyming technique is weak as fuck. L takes it with the punchlines easy, takes the multi's easily. L is by far the best out of the 3. The only other Mc Ive herd that I can even match up with Big L's flow is Big Pun.

Nas hired some good producers for Illmatic, and had decent bars. But nothing Big L hasn't eclipsed.
In multies, Big L has no competition at all.
And the Wordplay Big L had in 98 freestyle, beats out any of Nas's wordplays.
