SuKi 08-24-2006, 12:22 AM ^^^ How do I get a shot of it D^Coy 08-24-2006, 01:50 AM Open up your task bar, maximize it, sort it by CPU, press Shift + Print Screen, open up paint, paste it, and save it. coolplaya 08-24-2006, 01:05 PM Go to Start > Run > then type msconfig. A window should pop up, press start up, and uncheck any programs that you don't need or don't want to open up when the computer opens. Made my startup faster :) -Evey- 08-24-2006, 11:37 PM ^^^same here.. but i hate that damn pop up that asks you if you want to change any settings. Clusion 08-25-2006, 09:13 AM If you got AVG, theres an atomatic virus scan that starts as soon as you log into windows. That may be one of your problems. Not Jewish 08-26-2006, 08:36 PM i had this problem with windows when it started up but thanx to nico its sorted out now Clusion 08-26-2006, 09:03 PM ^ what did you do? might be the same problem Not Jewish 08-27-2006, 09:18 AM well first i went to start -> Run -> msconfig -> clicked on the start up tab at the end -> made a screen print -> send the screen print to nico (who marked out which ones i need to uncheck) and then he sent me the modified screen print back and my pc was faster after i restarted it coolplaya 08-27-2006, 10:01 AM Go to Start > Run > then type msconfig. A window should pop up, press start up, and uncheck any programs that you don't need or don't want to open up when the computer opens. Made my startup faster :) Basically what I said. Irate. 08-27-2006, 10:03 AM well first i went to start -> Run -> msconfig -> clicked on the start up tab at the end -> made a screen print -> send the screen print to nico (who marked out which ones i need to uncheck) and then he sent me the modified screen print back and my pc was faster after i restarted it if i was to do a screenprint, i'd have to do it in about 3-4 parts, i got so much shit running on startup that i don't need but can't be arsed to go thru it Not Jewish 08-27-2006, 12:39 PM yeah i had to do that too, thats what i did, nico jus told me what to uncheck cuz u need some of them programs to run when u start windows |
