What is your favorite type of music? for me it's really a toss up because I like just about every type of music but it would prolly be between Hard Rock, Metal, or Techno...what about ya'll?

To be honest, I can't really name one genre. I like pretty much most except EMO music which makes me sick.

I like... metal, prog rock, soft rock, country, jazz, trance, motown, classical, grunge... and stuff.

My favourite type of Jazz has got to be classical, can't beat Miles Davis. He was the king of originality.

Thelonious Monk, by far one of the most amazing Jazz piano players ever and one of my fav Jazz musicians. along with Charlie Parker...and Louis Armstrong...amazing trumpet player

Jimmy Hendrix was an artist that played the guitarr, he wasn't considered as just a rock artist, he was considered as more of a musician, but yes, Jimmy was into rock, but you have to admit that not many Black people listen to rock music

I listen to other genres more than rap, but I've always appreciated it just as much. I'm more into rock, jazz and classical.

lol. Nah, i'm not a chav. I think chavs are dirt and i disagree that anyone who listens to the music i do is a chav. The reason i don't listen to rock or indie or any other genre is because it's never appealed to me, and not many of my friends listen to rock or indie so i only hear the corny stuff on radio (Mainly James Blunt or Queen) that put's me off anything that sounds like rock or indie. That type of music just doesn't appeal to me. But if i was a chav i would be honoured to have that title you gave me :)

I don't listen to much outside of rap, really. I'll davle a little in other genres, but I'll only listen to the odd LP here and there. It's mainly EDM which I listen to most of out of the genre, but I can stand most things that aren't emo, country, trance, hardcore, punk, and "pop." And punjabi blend music is an enormous no no - most of the time it just comes off hella tacky.

Most different genres basically, Rock indie jazz soul....etc whatever floats my boat.

I'm listining to Bob Dylan right now actually, the Pat Garret And Billy The Kid soundtrack...he did the whole thing, kick ass. got "Knocking On Heaven's Door" which is a brilliant song

I love Drum & Bass/Jungle tracks, my faves being Circles(Adam F), Artificial Life(Omni Trio) and Cover Story(Cyantific). Also Love Ragga Dancehall such as Willie Bounce(Elephant Man), Hmm Hmm(Beenie Man) and Little Miss(Vybz Kartel. Other favourite styles of music: Dub, Electronica, Garage, Breakbeat, Techno, House, Grime, Electro, IDM and Ska.
