Come on an fess up. Who here is a Tool fan? They have to be the greatest prog rock band ever. There music is great, and I love the production, which is better then hip hop production imo. Most of the time I'd rather listen to Tool then most rap or anything else.

I'm a huge Tool fan. they have the industrial sound that kicks ass, and there videos are always good for a head trip

Aenima > Lateralus, but only by a margin. Eulogy is the greatest TOOL song I've heard... but that's my opinion.

Tool are sick. I used to be a big fan, schism is one of my favourites.

However, APC > Tool.

Haha, nah man. You have to give a listen to a quality song when it comes along. e.g. wings of a butterfly. There is no doubt Tool > HIM though.

I need some more prog rock songs though, i've tired audioslave, tool & apc out.

when it comes to bands in the same basic vein as Tool my favorites are NIN and Mushroomhead...oh yeah and Skinny Puppy

I'd refute that...Metal was basiclly all I listened to up until a few years ago

Metal still makes up 50% of what I listen to and always has, and is the core music among my friends.
And I'm a serial downloader with like 1-2 thousand metal tunes(maybe more) on my PC, from Doom Metal -> Prog metal -> Nu-Metal -> Metalcore.

^Ok man I don't want to get in a "who's more of a metal head" competition with you. Metal still takes up almost half of my music collection as well, Just saying...you aint the only dude here who listens to metal on a regular basis
