View Full Version : Dream Collabo???
MikeyMikey 08-29-2006, 02:04 PM Which 2 artists would ur dream collaboration be between if possible & Why???
My Top 5:
1. Nas & Jay-Z- I think these 2 r the 2 best rappers in the game 2day & have been 4 a while, so a collabo with these 2 could be legendary. Cud happen on the new Nas album.
2. Nas & Eminem- Easily 2 of the illest lyricists to ever grace the mic, so this wud b a gd collab. Not sure what the track would be about but with their lyrical talent it would easily be a masterpiece.
3. Biggie & 2pac- Obviously this can't happen but an official studio track with these 2 wud prob b every Hip Hop fans dream.
4. Ludacris & Busta Rhymes- Luda's delivery & Busta's flow on track produced by Scott Storch, Timbaland, Just Blaze or Swizz Beats would be definate hot club banger.
5. Snoop & Ma$e- Maybe not the most popular choice of a collabo 4 most ppl but I think these 2 wud sound gd on summer type tune or a feel-good club tune. For me these 2 have the best slow flow in the game.
Wat r other ppl choices???

Vats of Urine 08-29-2006, 10:49 PM O.D.B and Lil Jon- The look, the crunk, the shit. Lil' Jon can do some dark tracks and O.D.B droppin some hot shit would be great.
Lupe Fiasco and Jay-Z (On a Kanye Track)- Would have more swagger and clever lines than any ever.
Eminem and Redman- 2 of the funniest ever.
Talib Kweli and Lauryn Hill (produced by Hi-Tech)- that would be the smoothest track ever concived.
Snoop Dogg and T.I- T.I is the Snoop of the south IMO, his whole rhymin is based on his style and being cool.
Esocra 08-29-2006, 11:20 PM Wasn't the entire Firm album produced by Dre? Also, "Nas is Coming" on "It Was Written" was produced by Dre.
I like the dude that said Nas and Rakim that would be sick, also the dude that said Nas and Kweli, that would be sick as well - never thought of that combo.
I wanna see a damn Horseman Album with the 4 core members plus the ones that others speculated about joining - Rass Kass, Canibus, Chino, Pharoah, Priest, Kurupt, Rakim.... that album would have to be insane.

Bone24 08-31-2006, 09:39 AM word, me too. without kurupt wouldnt be a total loss though...
Kurupt can rip it when he tries. Just listen to "For all My Niggaz and Bitches" on Doggystyle.
Delarge. 08-31-2006, 09:47 AM Ra rugged man and honz.
Don't Curse 08-31-2006, 10:05 AM A lot of the people mentioned dosn't fit together!
I think a old jazz artist like Donald Byrd collaborating with a original artist like Andre 3000 being sampled and mixed by Oh No would make a classic album, of course depending on which other artists the album would feature...
It would be nice to hear Donald playing some brilliant piano and trumpet, while Oh No enhance it with some good samples and mixing...
The Featuring artist should (MOSTLY) be people like Gary Barnacle, Mica Paris etc. to add good passages of instruments and vocals...
A lot like Jazzmatazz... But with Andre 3000 as front-figure and a lot more Donald Byrd...
