The Hook, New York Hip-Hop’s Newspaper, is reporting that Peedi Crack may possibly be jointing The Legendary Roots Crew. Queestlove recently told The Hook, “I think we’re gonna give that ‘fifth Beetle’ position to Peedie. He accepted the offer, so we just have to see if we can finance it and fit in our structure so that he’s basically a Root for a year.” Peedi is currently featured on “Long Time” off The Roots’ new album Game Theory.

“The chemistry that him and Tariq (Black Thought) had was really just some shit I couldn’t ignore,” Questlove said. Game Theory hits stores August 29.
