Psynyde 08-31-2006, 03:51 AM good lookin out.
funk_M 08-31-2006, 10:59 AM I wasn't too impressed with the latest strokes album...i don't think they should have stuck exactly to what they did on their previous albums but their latest deviates too far away from what makes them good.
Jane Doe 08-31-2006, 04:17 PM ^ I'm a little divided on the topic . . . though I wasn't too fond of their approach, I still liked the outcome of 5 or so songs. I'm uploading "Is This It" too though :)
Rage Against The Machine - The Battle of Los Angeles
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2RHSAVVG
Esthero - Breath From Another
(HIGHLY recommend; very diverse, mellow & catchy)

Plug Zero 09-04-2006, 07:13 PM The Strokes are good mate
PAX DECEPTICVS 09-05-2006, 12:33 AM That Esthero was every bit as good as I thought it would be...judging by the only other couple of songs I heard of hers before hand.
the strokes are actually pretty good..if you like shit music.
Jane Doe 09-05-2006, 11:19 AM And what constitutes them as "shit music"? Personally I'll listen to anything as long as it sounds good - but I guess it's just because I'm openminded and don't feel the need to act like it's not catchy so people don't ridicule me.
..more albums being upped later.
Imperium 09-05-2006, 11:39 AM I'm not a massive fan of the strokes tbh nor the load of copy cat bands copying their style. I'm into my old school music at the moment, going though a Pink Floyd and the Beatles phase. Could anyone up some Pink Floyd as all i actually own is the Dark Side Of The Moon.
funk_M 09-05-2006, 12:24 PM If you download torrents then here you go
http://torrentspy.com/search.asp?h=76EB7FA19DC8445E98BB849C6B1A8C63&query=pink+floyd&submit.x=0&submit.y=0
Then download to your hearts content. I advise wish you were here, animals and the wall to start with
