Anybody else like them?

They make awesome music, and craft some great sounds, with each song being a little experience in its own right.

I think I'll go listen to Frances the Mute once finished with what I'm listening to now.

Good band, they put on great live shows, basiclly just jam sessions, I wish I could remember more of it...

I saw them at The B.D.O. '06.

To be honest, i'd never heard of them before then, and I haven't heard much since =/

Omar Rodriguez-lopez is greatness.

i love the mars volta, their music is usually riddled with complex sounds and ill solos.

Frances the Mute is creeping up on my list of favorite albums.. Deloused is pretty good also.

i've been meaning to check out some of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez solo effort.

The Mars Volta supposedly have some of the best live shows in music, i was trying to get tickets for this concert theyre having the 12th of Feb, and it sold out... two months ago :(

Mars Volta is amazing. Interesting, intricate, unique sound... and yea, I'm hoping for a chance to see them live sometime.

and @ Seiz, as for Omar solos, I've only heard Apocalypse inside an Orange and Se Dice Bisonte, and they were both solid.
