Gym Class Heroes is rap with punk-rock-ish beats I guess, they're not exactly what you're looking for but they're good check em out anyway

b-2pjff7zT8

^^^New Friend Request, off their new CD "As Cruel as School Children".

Also there's The Roots, who are rock and rap, they're a real nice group. There also good b/c they actually play their beats, not make em on Fruity Loops etc. I would DEFINATELY reccomend them. Get "Phrenology" as well as their new album titled "Game Theory"

^^^The seed 2.0, my favorite Roots song, not that rappish, but it's nice. Most of their songs are like this, but they have some pure rap as well.

Linkin Park would be the obvious answer.
Circle of Tyrants had a a Grindcore element to their music.

The only band who has sucessfully pulled that shit off is RATM. And maybe Public Enemy when thay collaboed with Anthrax, and with the rest of their beats in general I suppose.

Limp Bizket I think are Rap Rock. Or Rap Metal.

A good rap metal song is Areosmith Ft. Run DMX - Walk This Way.

Rage Against The Machine are great....Im not shure if thats Rap Rock or Rap Metal though...

Rage are what got me into hip-hop

I love rap and rock but can't get into rap-rock. I'll only put on Limp Bizkit's "Significant Other" album from time to time.

well there's critical bill from detroit, whose on tech n9nes record label, and tech has his own rap/rock band called kabosh, then there's kmk and their band, but i forget the name, then biohazard, and anthrax, necro has some tracks where he raps over some heavy metal... he even did a song with jamie jasta that you all should check out... it's called "push it to the limit"... slipknot used to be good for the "rapping in a way that keeps the song metal" shit... iowa being their best album...

I hate the name rap-rock, but no matter what kind of music you like (hed)pe's self titled first CD should be in your collection.
