for all the upperclassman i have a question....me and my boy were talkin about this cuz i talk to alot of girls in my school and he doesn't talk to any....he has the chance to get wit a lot of girls, but he says he's focused on school...my question is...

does having a girlfriend (or for the ladies boyfriend) effect the way you preform in school?....


i think it helps me...i have a girlfriend and it lets me know that i shouldn't be worried about the females in the school..i get all my shit done and still have all the fun i want without worrying about girls...my boy on the other hand has no girl and says he doesn't worry about them...yet he seems to be focused on impressing girls all day and slacks when it comes to work...i think having a healthy relationship helps with gettin things done...what do u guys think?...

^^^because if you're a freshman, you're just getting the hang of high school, so you don't really know what it's like

i'm in college, but i think there are definitely benifits to having a relationship. you can do your work and in your down time, you don't have to worry about impressing females if you just have your one down chick to fall back on. but the key is keeping balance with it. if you spend no time with females you'll can get distracted more easily by them and mess up with your school work, but if you spend all your time with your girl, you won't get work down either. that's why most of the girls i talk to go to other schools around me, so I don't have to worry about them during the week as much, but on the weekends, it's on. just keep structure so you're not always together and it should work out fine, as long as she's not monopolizing your time.

high school is a hell of a lot different than junior high or elementary school. you'll figure it out soon enough

Yeah, it effects how you perform in school. Anythin` does.. cause if you got drama with your girl/guy you gon be thinkin` bout it a lot & then you have to dedicate your time to `em & that takes a lot of time.

I guess it depends on how you choose to divide ur time, between ur social and academic life.

i agree ya spend less time tryin 2 impress da ladies.but on da flipside if ya dream off in class bout ya girl and what ya gona do 2night it can distract ya from learnin(or if da 2 of you is fightin)

it depends how ya girl is cuz if ya girl really want u to do good in skool shell b like "oo u aint gettin no ass until u pass" lol but na it depends cuz on one hand like da otha ppl said u wont focus on gettin a girl but den u mite start thinkin of her a lot but if she got classes witchu den if ya get partnered up or w/e in class she can b ya partner den u wont have to think of her as much cuz she gon b rite dere. for me lets just say i got distracted a lot cuz of a girl lol she was in a diff skool n she would get out earlier...so i would jus cut n chill wit her instead of waitin for skool to b ova

I can't speak for myself but my brother when he didn't have a g/f, went to school probably 8 days out of the month.. then when he got one (and she transfered to his school) he went every day.... for about a month or two. Now they ditch school together. :/

Smh I'm sorry but I loved distractions when I was in High School...If I actually gave a shit about HS, and I were to look back at that expierence - I probably would of laughed at myself...It honestly did nothing for me...

Then again, I probably shouldn't be discouraging school due to the fact that most people would go pathless without it...
