I'm attempting to run a Core 2 Duo system I'm building off one (1) 6.4 GB IDE HD and one (1) 160 GB SATAII 3.0 HD, with the former as the master and the latter as the slave. Jumper pins are set properly for the IDE and such. Anyways, I get the NTDLR is missing error screen after trying to boot from the IDE HD (cuz as we all know you can't transfer and XP installed HD to a PC other than it's initial installation configuration bc of the diff. boot.ini files and such) so I set my BIOS to boot from the Floppy Drive (which I formatted and saved generic boot files too in order to get the IDE HD to the OS where I could subsequently overwrite the existing specialized boot files and also change the IDE controller to a generic version as opposed to the 820 Chipset one currently being used in the Device Manager) but for some reason it won't boot from the Floppy (hasn't even recognized it's existence, but the drive works in another machine) anywho so I decide I'm going to slipstream a version of XP so I can initiate a compatible install on the IDE HD and install the SATA Drivers to the 160 GB HD so I can install a copy of XP on THAT hard drive. Anyways, I don't need any help I just did this to make ppl read a lot of bullshit for nothing.
