If you ask around the rap battle hed crowd, Jay-Z is gonna pop up more than Nas. If you ask the backpack crowd, Nas is gonna come up more. If we're talking about pure lyrical skill; For me, they're equal. Nas might come up with an extremely clever wordplay every 3 songs, while Jay-Z might come up with only decent one's every verse. J.
