This is quite old but I never got round to posting it. Here's the link for Microsoft's new operating system, Vista which will be released in January. Even though it is full working, be warned that this is only a preview version and should only be used as a second operating system.

Personally if I was you, only install this if you are confident in your computing skillz. Be sure to create a brand new partition and install it in that because this will fuck up your boot records. Then if you don't want it, you can just delete that partition and your PC will be exactly the same as it was before.

You needa sign up for a serial key from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/PcTrialResults1.aspx?s=151

and you will then needa download the ISO file and burn it onto DVD -> http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/rc2/en/download.htm

Try and get the serial key before you download the 3GB file otherwise, if your unsuccessful in acquiring it your wasting your time as you won't be able to install it. If you have a 64bit processor check out the 64bit version but beware that some drivers don't function properly since this is only a beta version. For instance, my TV and X-FI card drivers would not work in the 64bit version.
