Intel has always had the upper hand. ~K!LLA 4tZ~ 10-20-2006, 02:02 PM I think you're jumping the gun a little... the X2 has been out a while now, and is still 90nm technology. AMD have a 65nm product coming out soon, which I'm sure will compete with Intel quite happily. Also, you have to consider the 30points here and there isn't a vast difference, and you will probably not notice the difference in computing/gaming. At those scores, it's going to get theoretical. And again, the prices. AMD prices are always cheaper than Intel... so unless you're loaded, you're more likely to go AMD, and if you are loaded, then benchmarking etc and overclocking won't matter to you a whole lot anyway, as you'll always have the best CPU.... P.S. It's about time Intel bought something out worth considering, but we haven't seen the AMD retaliation yet.Still not time to switch.
