The DVD release of Eminem's '8 Mile' is to feature previously unseen material, dotmusic can report.
According to producer Brian Grazer, the DVD version of the box office smash will include five unscripted rap battles that failed to make the film's final cut.
"Much like the visceral fight scenes from Scorsese's 'Raging Bull', the heart and the soul of '8 Mile' are the rap battles," he said.
"Now, with the release of the DVD, people who just couldn't get enough of '8 Mile''s heart will get the opportunity to see the extremely rare and raw interaction of five additional rap battles that, for one reason of another, just didn't make it into the film."
Additional features on the DVD will include the music video to 'Superman' - from Eminem's recent LP, 'The Eminem Show' - and a documentary entitled 'The Making of 8 Mile'.
Two versions of the DVD will be released, one with censored extras and the other left uncensored.
